The Death of Osama bin Laden

It was on May 2nd, 2011 that the most wanted man in America was killed, Osama bin Laden. He was killed by a Naval Special Warfare group or aka SEAL Team Six. Osama was held accountable for many terriost attacks in United states including the 9/11 Twin Towers and the Pentagon attack. Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden or Osama bin Laden was the founder of the Al Qaeda terriost group. It was the organization that claimed responsibility for the Twin Towers attack on the United States. ‘September 11, 2001, was the kind of morning when everything seemed right in the world”, (Bergen 1). He was born on March 10th, 1957 and was killed on May 2nd, 2011. Osama had many followers he had followers from the Middle East all the way to Southern Russia. It was an upper class mansion used as Osama’s safe house. The compound was at the end of a dirt road just 0.8 miles southwest of the Pakistan Military Academy in Bilal Town, Abbottabad, Pakistan. Where Osama and his sons were hiding. They didn’t know any minute that the leader was going to be dead. Around the compound was tall fencing with barb wired tops and guards at every corner. Osama bin Laden was killed by the SEAL Team Six on the ground in a forty minute firefight in his mansion safe house. Robert O’Neill says he was walking up the stairs and he had a glimpse of a man with his head peeking around the corner. O’Neill said he fired and was not for sure that he hit the suspect. The Team scavenged their way around into the room where they identified a man on the floor twitching up from a gunshot wound to the forehead. The SEALs put three more bullets in the suspect’s chest where later the suspect was identified as Osama bin Laden.
