Osama Bin Laden: The First Terrorist Attack

When Osama Bin Awad Bin Laden was born, he lived a pretty innocent life. He was the 17th child out of 50 siblings. He married a relative when he was 17 years old. His father, Muhammad Bin Awad Laden immigrated to what is now known as Saudi Arabia, from southern Yemen. He got a job as a porter to pilgrims that were on their way to the holy city of Mecca. Years later, he owned the largest construction company in Saudi Arabia. He later passed away in a plane crash in 1967. Every one of his children inherited millions of dollars. Osama, along with all of his siblings, had to work for the family company. They all had spent most of their summers working on the streets. Osama Bin Laden lead a terrorist group called Al Qaeda and planned attacks on the U.S. and hijacked planes that had passengers on it, then ultimately came to his death.

Despite that, they have done many other terrorist attacks. Their first attack was on December 19, 1992. They had killed 2 tourists in Somalia and were preparing to launch rockets at the U.S. Military planes. The first terrorist attack in America was in 1993, they attacked the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia. There are far too many attacks to explain them all. The most violent and was on September 11, 2001. Four planes were hijacked. 2 of those planes were crashed into each of the twin towers in New York, USA. One of them flew into the pentagon right outside of Washington, D.C. There was a fourth one, but crew members and passengers fought the terrorists and it ended up crashing in Pennsylvania. Everybody on the plane died, but nobody outside was hurt. They had other plans besides the twin towers, but that plan failed so they turned to major
