Many Jews thought of his pot making factory as a haven, a refuge for Jews. During the later years of the war around 1942, Nazi soldiers invaded the ghettos and relocated Jews to concentration camps. Schindler had saved Polish jews from the Polish concentration camp, Plaszow. At first, I viewed Oskar Schindler as just another one of those greedy CEO’s and took advantage of Jews for free labor.

This would be the first of thousands more to come, all with the intention of either forced labor or mass murder, often both (¨The Holocaust¨). It was the 1940’s in Poland I was captured and put into a prison called Auschwitz Birkenau. I am 35 years old most of family is either dead, in another prison, or hiding from the Nazis. I wish I knew where they were but the last time I saw any of them was when I was with my two little brothers, my mom, and aunt. We were running from a little group of SS soldiers in the forest before everything started we always use to go to a little cabin in the forest so we just used that to hide.
Schindler 's Transformation Oskar Schindler, a greedy nazi who’d people not expect to ever do anything good had an amazing transformation in his life. He is smart and knows how to get his way. But when most people think rich people are greedy his transformation proves otherwise. Schindler changed in many ways throughout his story. When the Jews from Krakow are being sent to the concentration camp, the German officials laugh as they watch the Jews get shoved into cattle cars. A somewhat muted act of helping the Jews, Schindler waters down the cattle cars with the fire hose to give them water to drink, while making it seem as though he is torturing them. Later on, he makes an even bolder gesture in trying to convince fellow Germans to treat Jews equally. When he and Göth are talking, Schindler takes a leap and tells him, “Power is when we have every justification to kill and we don’t.” This could have easily ended up in Göth turning in Schindler for trying to corrupt him.
The person who I chose is Oskar Schindler. He saved thousands of Jews from murder. He was born in 1908 in a province of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. He worked as a businessman. Schindler was working for the Nazi party when he saved about twelve-hundred Jews from the Holocaust.

Schindler was born on April 28th, 1908 into a German Catholic family. He was raised by his father Hans Schindler and his mother Franziska Luser. He was the only child until his parents had his sister Elfriede Schindler seven years later in 1915.
