As another year comes to a close at the Crowley Chamber of Commerce, I would sincerely like to thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our organization. Your membership is vital to our existence, and with your partnership and involvement, we are able to carry out our mission to support not only the business community, but also the community of Crowley and Acadia Parish as a whole. A continuous advocate for the business community, it is not our goal to simply meet the standards of this organization, but to exceed them. No matter the circumstance or situation, the Crowley Chamber strives to be the source of information and support for our members, our community and beyond.

The Vice President of the Mills Park Middle School National Junior Honor Society is obligated to uphold a substantial leadership status and accentuate the five pillars of NJHS, amidst both their peers and respective communities. Furthermore, the Vice President ought to assist and collaborate effectively with the selected NJHS President. A President and a Vice President that can unite and take on a challenge together, establish an unbreakable bond that reflects remarkably on the society being led. This strong relationship applies not only to the President, but to the other officers and members of the National Junior Honor Society as well. It is the role of an NJHS officer to represent the voices of the students and form a collective opinion.
Dear Mr. President, Civic and political participation of the people in this nation is important in order to keep a functioning government and society. If the people of this nation ignores their civic responsibilities and don’t help make important decisions, then just a couple individuals are choosing who merits government positions. It 's our obligation as citizens to ensure our rights and take an interest politically. Lastly, civic and political participation is important because it allows people to be herd, to fight for justice and equality. What issues or events motivated the person to action?
Speech for NJHS Induction Ceremony Good evening students, faculty, and family members! Thank you, Mrs. Reece and Principal King, for inviting me to this year’s National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony. Students, tonight we honor your achievements in the areas of Scholarship, Citizenship, Responsibility, Community Service, Character, and Leadership as we recognize and celebrate the choices, and at times the sacrifices, you have made. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The reward of a thing well done is to have done it."
My role has allowed me to gain knowledge of how both the County and City operate, as well as establish relationships with staff members from different departments. This unique perspective and understanding of the inner workings of the local government provide me with valuable insights and resources that can contribute to the betterment of Downtown Alpena. I possess the ability to effectively articulate ideas and advocate for causes that I am enthusiastic about. My persuasive communication skills can be an asset when conveying the importance of certain changes or initiatives that can benefit Downtown Alpena and its community.

One year has passed since I became Executive Assistant of Division 66. I have worked under our lieutenant governor and spectated our incoming lieutenant governor’s induction. I want to be in the crowd at the 68th Annual District Convention, cheering them on wholeheartedly -- not only as a member of the Divisional Board,
The memory of each student’s accomplishment will forever be overshadowed by the mess of the Induction Ceremony that was originally meant to acknowledge them. I believe that the event could and should have been more smoothly conducted, for the sake of all involved. However, although the Honor Society Induction Ceremony was disorganized, I am still very honored to have been granted this prestigious award and would not have changed my decision to strive for it, if I was given the chance to begin
Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.
The National Honor Society is an opportunity for many students, who are well educated with dreams and leaderships skills, to upgrade themselves. The sole purpose of this organization is to endeavor leaders in different societies to help out their community. It will help colleges to notify the leaders when looking at students’ resumes, for those students in this organization will be the few who are well-developed leaders in their school. Since this will be the first time to be given the opportunity to contribute to this organization, I may not know everything about the requirements in which I need to manage.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to possibly be a part of National Junior Honor Society. I would appreciate being able to be a part of this group to help better the school and it’s environment for people that work there. This would give me a chance to give back to the school district that has gotten me where I am today and has taught me so much. Scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship are qualities not normally seen in every child today and are big shoes to fill.
The film Graduating Peter, showed the journey of a boy growing up and experiencing school. Peter is special compared to the average student. When Peter was born, he was diagnosed with down syndrome. His parents wanted Peter to live a normal life just like his other siblings. They wanted him to be in mainstream classes, get a job, and focus on his future.

Servant Leadership during Natural Disasters Servant leadership is a leader who displays ethical and caring behaviors. These leaders seek to enhance the growth of others while improving quality of life. The two main constructs of this leadership are ethical behavior and concern for subordinates. The characteristics embodied in this are stewardship, foresight, conceptualization, persuasion, building community, listening, empathy, awareness, commitment to growth of people and healing.
