I have learned a great deal from reading this book and I hope to implement a few of his ways in my future classroom. I can relate too many of the stories that have been told in this book because this is real life in a school environment. I would like to break my summary down chapter by chapter.
Phill Collins once said: "In learning you will teach and in teaching you will learn." As a student you look up to your teachers they are the example you strive to become. However we have also had the influence of teachers that we were not particularly fond of. So, what makes a teacher someone you can learn from, someone you are exited to see everyday? Studies show that good professors do not only teach, but they encourage new possibilities, inspire you to work harder, praise accomplishments, and mentor you in anything you need help for.
