Phill Collins once said: "In learning you will teach and in teaching you will learn." As a student you look up to your teachers they are the example you strive to become. However we have also had the influence of teachers that we were not particularly fond of. So, what makes a teacher someone you can learn from, someone you are exited to see everyday? Studies show that good professors do not only teach, but they encourage new possibilities, inspire you to work harder, praise accomplishments, and mentor you in anything you need help for.

Encouragement is a huge part of development in every child or young adult. Knowing they can do something no matter where they come from, or who they are, is something that helps them push themselves. Being an educator, you help students of all ages find themselves, and knowing that it doesn't matter who they find as long as they know it's what they want to do allows them to push boundaries and discover more than what's right in front of them. School isn't just where you learn about math or science, it's where you learn that nothing is impossible, and being encouraged to do the impossible is just the first step. …show more content…

Students are pushed in many ways during their years in school but it all comes down to enjoying what you do and teachers that enjoy what they do inspire those that learn from them to find that happiness in themselves, whether it includes writing, hands on, or even a computer screen, the teachers that love seeing kids succed, inspire them to explore their assignments and get into work till they find what they love, whether it's their subject or not a teachers love for one thing can connect the student to another. Isn't that after all what education is all about? Helping students learn and enjoy the feild they continue
