I have always wanted to pursue a career in Primary Education and carry out the roles and responsibilities of a teacher. I am always determined to get involved in volunteering schemes which concentrates on the aspect of the education of young people. After several consultations with teachers at Broadway school I have learned that this career tends to get a bit competitive, so when I come face to face with a difficult situation I push myself using everything I possess to overcome these challenges. Throughout my education the teachers I have encountered, the way they interacted with me, encouraged me influenced me to do the same for other children, this is the reason for wanting to pursue a career in teaching. This is because I believe that children at this age go through many changes so they will need someone to push them to go forward encouraging them when they need it.

Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve sought out a career that would be enjoyable, and one that I’d be proud of. The career that always came to mind was being a teacher for younger children. I was hesitant and unaware if I was making the right choice, but in the end, I still believed that this was the right career for me. After my high school graduation, I transferred to Elgin Community College.

While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
