Wayne Williams Essay Hair and fibers seem like tiny useless objects,but they have a huge impact when it comes to forensic investigations.Hair strands and fibers hold more information than we can see.For example hair can tell where you have been,what you have eaten, and what race you are.Also DNA can be pulled from strands of hair.Fibers can be traced by the type of fiber specifically from a certain type of carpet or material found in a car. With that being said hair and fibers are the biggest center point of the Wayne Williams case.There isn’t one hundred percent certainty on with whether Williams commited the murders or he’s just a innocent man in jail.So the beliefs on if he is guilty or innocent is two sided.The side I fall on is that …show more content…

Also the whole bridge incident doesn’t make sense one he was spotted on the bridge two days before a murder,second he lied about trying to find a phone and call someone who didn't exist,and third him later saying he just was just curious of what he could see so he choose to go the route of the bridge.Why would anyone in the right mindset go to the bridge knowing there is police there whose sole purpose is to keep a lookout for possible suspects and suspicious people you are just asking to be put in the spotlight.That’s the thing though no one would go over there unless they didn’t know police would be on the bridge.I believe Williams didn’t know police would be lookout or wouldn't be there at that time mind you it’s 3 am a very unusual time to be out.So he probably did dump the body then was seen by police afterwards.I know the argument there is no evidence he stopped on the bridge well there is no evidence showing he didn’t.Also the body was not found until two days after William’s was there,The body couldn’t have been found at night because it was dark If it hadn’t police could have looked to see what caused the splash they heard.During that time the body would have drifted of somewhere which is why it took two days to
