Summary
The Bachelor aired Monday evening on February 13, 2017. Nick Viall is the Bachelor and he is set out on an adventure to find a wife. There are many women in the house that want to marry Nick, and win his affection at the end of this process. Nick goes on several one on one dates as well as group dates with the women. Throughout the show women are concerned that they will be sent home, and are constantly trying to prove their love and connection they have with him. This episode is full of drama and emotions as women are fighting for the same man, and some are sent home. The remaining women are one step closer to winning Nicks love, affection, and to live, “happily ever after.”

Theory
Patriarchal Ideology is the premise of this ideology that males are superior to females because they are biologically superior. Men are logical and women are emotional. Males use their authority to create good and justice in society. There are many scenes throughout the show that display men as dominance over the women and they must do what he says and wants. There are also portions of women trying to dominate/manipulate over him and show their position. Also, all the examples above display how the show is designed by the creators. The creators help and prompt the women into doing certain things on live T.V. to add to the drama, sex and suspense. If simply everyone was good and there were not fights and drama, this would not intrigue viewers to keep tuning in. The public wants to gossip about what is happening and what will happen next week. The Bachelor continues wrapping in its viewers by the juicy drama to tune in next week for the next fight, the next manipulative move from a woman and the next person to fall in love with Nick. And most importantly, who will be sent
