Topic Sentence: Little Piece of Information: In the morning of December 7, 1941, Japan surprised America by bombing a US Naval Base, known as Pearl Harbor on Oahu, Hawaii. Many Americans were wounded, killed, and devastated at this act of terrorism on their land. Therefore, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and many citizens knew they had to join the Allies and fight back all that was destroyed (Davidson and Stoff 811).
Boom, boom, boom, boom! Those were the sounds of bombs being dropped by Japan on Pearl Harbor. There are three main reasons Japan attacked Pearl Harbor which are the U.S. embargo, U.S. fleet expansion, and Japan’s new world order. The first reason Japan attacked is Japan's new world order.
1.)Pearl Harbor was a Japanese surprise attack on the Naval base at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. a)This battle was the beginning of WW2 for the United States because right after this attack Germany and Japan declared war on the United States.b)Events leading up to Pearl Harbor were mainly noticing Japan was starting to get aggressive.c) This battle fit into larger contact because after this attack the United States went to war with Japan and Germany. 2.)A key leader on the United States side was Admiral Husband E. Kimmel.
It was december 7th 1941, a day that japan ensured the world would never forget. Despite high risk japan decided to take the gamble and enact their terror on an american naval base by the name of pearl harbor. Hundred of japanese fighter planes descended onto the naval base taking a total of 2400 lives and wounding over 1000 people. There are three main that I believe lead japan to their decision those things being , oil embargo, us militarization, and the new world order and expansion. To begin with japan was upset about oil embargo.
December 7, 1941 is considered one of the most impactful days in United States’ history: the day Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Despite their size, Japan left an incredible amount of damage with their 5 submarines and 408 planes. President Roosevelt had been avoiding scuffling with Japan since their pact with Germany and Italy; war with Germany was sure to erupt soon enough. However, soon after the ambuscade, the United States’ declared war on Japan and launched their involvement in World War II. Japan’s leaders recognized the risks of invading one of America’s naval bases; yet they persisted.
There wasn’t any single definite event that caused the attack on Pearl Harbor, but rather a list of situations, events, and mentalities. In Japanese schools, students were taught that they stemmed from the Yamato race, which they deemed to be superior. They saw America and Europe as nations who’ve ruled for a long time and were falling apart, and off their pedestal:“an old order… is now crumbling. ”(Document A) This was their chance for their superiority to “...extend[ed] so as to embrace the whole world.”

Hitler then created a military group called the Nazis, who entrusted Hitler's strategic plan to "cleanse" the world.
Pearl Harbor is a United States naval base located in Hawaii that had served as a US outpost in the region of the Pacific. On December 7th, 1941, Japan led a surprise attack that resulted in a launching of 361 airplanes from six aircraft carriers. The Japanese destroyed five battleships, while damaging three battleships and two hundred airplanes. In response to this attack and the amount of American lives lost, President Franklin Roosevelt asks Congress for a declaration of war against Japan and Germany. This declaration gave the United States an initiation to the beginning of World War II.

Many people believe that this attack is just a military action. The premise hiding in the back is Japan's constant aggression and their desire for resources, and the economic sanctions from America. These factors interacted and contributed to the escalating tensions between Japan and the United States, ultimately leading to the US declaration of war against Japan while the former was involved in the world war.

Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor is by far one of America’s most remembered events in history. On December 7, 1941, the Japanese dropped bombs on the American base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This attack is what persuaded President Franklin Roosevelt to join World War 2 and fight on two fronts. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor for many reasons. They attacked because they believed they would create a New World Order, they felt threatened by America and because of the oil embargo.
In the article called “Pearl Harbor,” the author writes, “In all, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor crippled or destroyed nearly 20 American ships and more than 300 airplanes.” The Pearl Harbor incident made Americans think of what was best for their country, not what was best for individual people. Also, in the article called, “The Japanese Attacked Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941,” the author writes,“The bombing killed more than 2,300 Americans. It completely destroyed the American battleship U.S.S. Arizona and capsized the U.S.S. Oklahoma. The attack sank or beached a total of twelve ships and damaged nine others.
What do you know about Pearl Harbor…? Pearl Harbor was a devastation to Americans. lives were lost, ships and planes were damaged and destroyed. The Japan attacked Pearl to insure safety for japan. December 7, 1941 was the horrific day when the Japanese attacked Hawaii.
To dehumanize someone, is to derive a person of human qualities. After watching The Island, Michael Bay’s dystopian film, Lincoln Six Echo, Jordan Two Delta, and all the other clones realize they have been dehumanized and are not treated like actual humans in the world. The clones also realize they are not consider true humans and are just solely made for the purpose of elongating millionaires’ lives. Michael Bay has created The Island to give an example of the determination people have to just simply live longer, even if it means to derive people of human qualities in the process.
