While in Pennsylvania originally to eat Hershey's chocolate and spend time with relatives over the summer, I visited the University of Pennsylvania. Stepping onto the campus, seeing the English Gothic College Hall, Penn introduced itself as an excellent university. Every core aspect, from the unique and renowned academics to the urban-Philadelphia environment, to the diversity of the student body, matches the setting I hope to involve myself over the next four years.
Academically, I wish to pursue studies in business and world languages. Unlike many other universities, the University of Pennsylvania possesses the resources for and encourages a diverse realm of study. Seeing how Penn supports the development of applied practical skills, I would participate in classes for a degree in Finance through Wharton while taking various courses in Spanish, German, and Chinese with anticipation to travel abroad to further hone my studies. Following four years of schooling, I would graduate with a top-class education which helped develop my foundation as an intellectual, able to apply core skills in any business or teamwork situation; by 2020, I would leave a proud alumni.

While progressing my education, I wish to pursue extracurricular activities bolstering and diversifying my college experience. I plan to continue my studies in finances and economics through the Wharton Investment and Trading Group, improving my understanding of real-world economics, building upon my past investment club experience, and becoming more involved with the Penn community. To involve myself outside of Wharton and stay active, I hope to join the Co-ed Club Swimming, and I wish to pursue more with tutoring through the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, applying for a position at the Tutoring Center later in my college
