If you ever want to go on a quest to find the Master Bolt, go to different areas to witness stuff you haven’t seen before, and fight off monsters and teachers, then the book series Percy Jackson is for you! Percy Jackson, a 12 year-old kid in upstate New York faces and learns many different things! In the book Percy Jackson, Percy faces a problem which is stopping him from going on beyond points. That problem is that he was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention-Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder) and Dyslexia, meaning he can’t understand some letters because they are jumbled around. On page 11, the author claims, “The school counselor told me this was part of the ADHD, my brain misinterpreting things.” This explains to me that he is misinterpreting things due to his ADHD and is confusing his mind/brain. On page 55, “The monster charged. Without thinking, I rolled to one side and came back kneeling. As the monster barreled past, I drove the broken horn straight into his side, right up his furry rib cage.” This quote tells me that Percy also has to think smart and be aware of the Minotaur, which is attacking him, and he has to decide, does he want his mom to be vaporized away, or use the pearl and make his mom really angry for using
