Do you know someone that was a mortal and also a god at the same time who risks his life to go on a terrifying journey? Perseus is demigod that shows his courage and how brave he is towards his quest and is determined to get it done. He is a great example of a guy with great leadership qualities. Perseus shows he is a strong and fearless character by how he demonstrated his story in Greek Mythology by impacting literature and entertainment and by who he is, what he does, and how he affects Greek Mythology.

Polydectes took in Perseus and his mother Danae. Polydectes started to have a passion for Perseus' mother and wanted to marry her (Hunter). He wanted Perseus to leave so he asked him to go on a journey and find Gorgon Medusa and bring back the head of her(Perseus). She is a woman who has snakes as her hair and if you ever looked at her in the eyes, you will turn into stone in seconds.
Perseus accomplished his quest with the help of Hermes and Athena. He went first to the Gorgons' sisters, the Graeae, who had only one eye and one tooth which they shared among themselves. Perseus took the eye and the tooth, and agreed to give them back only if the Graeae helped him in his quest. They helped him acquire a pair of winged sandals, a wallet or satchel, and the cap of Hades (Hunter).
The sandals were given to him to fly, and the cap is for him to sneak up on Medusa (Hunter). Wearing the cap, he approached Medusa, looking only at her reflection in his shield, and cut off her head. Later in the journey he saw a girl who name was Andromeda by the sea about to be killed by the sea monster (Hunter). He defeated the monster and fell in love with her and bargained with her father, Cepheus, for her hand in marriage if he killed the monster (Hunter). He finally returned to Acrisius' Kingdom where he fulfilled the prophecy by accidentally killing him by throwing a discus. He shows his is fearless by protecting his Mom from Polydectes when he came home from his quest and saw him harassing Danae and using Medusa's head once again to turn him into stone(Hunter). He also shows his dominance by not backing down from any fight or anyone that came in his way.(Perseus) Perseus did a lot by showing he is one of the greatest Greek heroes, but he also impacted literature and entertainment for today's world.
Perseus impacted literature and entertainment by developing books and movies. The Percy Jackson & the Olympians are a great example of the literature and entertainment. It developed books and also movies which were very popular. Another Movie was Clash of the Titans. These books and movies showed the life of Perseus and how he takes on obstacles and over comes them. He demonstrates how if you believe in yourself, you can go out and succeed in whatever you're doing. Not only is Perseus a powerful demigod, but he impacted literature and entertainment for
