Throughout our lives, we have to make so many tough decisions that make it tough to balance our relationships with the people around us and with what we want to do. These experiences happen to be similar or related to the characters in the two stories. Just like how Will was scared of failure in the movie, I have been scared of failure in my life. An example that is recurring in my life that I’m trying to overcome is being scared of failure in sports. In any sport, when I play, most of the time I play just to not make mistakes instead of just trying to play my best. When I do this, it shows that I am scared of failure and that it is a big part of my life. Also, just like how George and Lennie had friendship and a dream, I’ve had that one. I used to be friends with someone and we had dreams of being friends together for a long time, but when he started to do bad things I had to make the hard decision to stop being friends with him.
