I couldn’t wait to tell my friends about my new craving for books! We were starting school in a week. I decided that I needed some answers. I was laying in bed when I had a great idea. I sneak outside and head to the cemetery. Walking up to the giant ink bottle, I notice the door was cracked open a little bit. I open it and walk through. I see my friend Jack lying on the floor with a bite mark on his neck. I knew I had to keep quiet, or the vampire will come after me. So, I run back home as fast as I could.

Today I get to go to the Empire State building. That is where I built my teleporter last summer. I got ready and walked to school. When the school came into view, the sign in front said “September 12, 2044”. It also said “8th grade field trip to the Empire State building”. As I walked into school, I noticed something flying in the air. I thought it was the vampire, but I decided it was just a bird. We got on the bus and took off. I couldn’t wait to show Jack my teleporter. Since it was early in the morning, I fell asleep. Whenever I woke up, I could have sworn I saw the vampire on the sidewalk. I had to be ready for action. In about an hour, we were there. As I stepped off the bus, I tripped and fell. My knee had abrasions all over it. I got up and immediately noticed the odd-looking man walking into the building. It was the vampire. I ran into the building and followed him. He walked down the basement stairs. Instantly, I knew he was going for my teleporter. He started programming it to send him to send him to Australia. I couldn’t just let him go hurt innocent people. When he was about to go through the teleporter, I ran and set it for the Sahara Desert. I knew he couldn’t survive in the sun. He noticed me and lunged toward me.
