The balloons are out, the flowers are in bloom, I smell summer. I smell a summer like no other. Not because the groundhog came out early this year, or because I was one year older, but because I was a graduate, from Gilkey International middle school (finally). Sophie comes up to me yelling, super excited for the night ahead, graduation. As we rehearse our ceremony, in our high inched heels and dainty fake eyelashes Charlie runs up behind us screaming in our ear jumping us out of our own skin.
As a young aspiring musician in middle school, I wanted to start a band desperately. Instead, I was known as Emerson Middle School 's’ music freak. I posted flyers in businesses around my hometown and online ads. I wanted to be like Amy Lee from Evanescence terribly, but my taste in music was different than most people. When my fellow classmates heard about my compositions and ideas, they thought it was a joke.
First of all, I was not completely appeased with my friends from sixth grade because there was a lot of drama. This year I have met many new friends that are nice, kind, funny, and exciting to be around. I feel that I can trust them more than my friends from sixth grade. Besides meeting my closest friends, I have met many unique people in seventh grade. I am not close to everyone in school, but I have acquired many new acquaintances.
The Journal For Conquering Middle School The time had come for me to become a 6th grader. It would definitely be a difficult transition for me going to a brand new place with hulking monsters known to everyone as the eighth graders. Going to middle school would mean that I would have to meet new people from other elementary schools and that I could possibly lose my old friends. I really wanted to stay behind in elementary school where everything seemed so predictable and friendly.
This 8th grade year and my entire middle school experience was a fun time and a blast. I hope I get to experience In high school. The one question for high school is will it be a drastic change. In this bit of writing from my humanities I asked a big question.
Every student starting middle school has a conflict in making new friends the first days of school. Me myself also had problems making new friends because I was very shy. Fortunately I had one of my friends from elementary school. Although I'd love to tell you the way I made friends I changed over the year to survive middle school.
I was expecting it would take them some more time but I was mistaken. When I heard that I was starting school the next day, the butterflies in my stomach returned and I was afraid. I felt as if running away would be the only option because making new friends was a task I was never good at. I was very uncomfortable by being surrounded by all these people I didn't know.
Third Grade It was a cool and very cold morning at my school. It was around 10 a.m and we went outside to have Recess. We were playing two hand touch football.
Later on that night I told my parents I had a great day, but I was holding back my fears of what dilemmas I would face. The next week went by and I found myself stuck with the same problems that I started off with, I had not yet made any friends and I just wanted to go back home. Another week had passed before I had someone that I would consider a friend. My new friend was tall and athletic compared to my short and chubby self, but he lived on my street so we became friends because of proximity.
There's a lot of drama in middle school and it can be tiring. There's always something going on around this school and nothing stays between you and someone else. My group in biotech class were talking about one of my friends. I didn't say anything against her, but the girl that said everything told her I said everything.
Then second grade came and I met new friends. I met Mikayla Jones and Emily Williams. Mikayla is obviously still my friend to this day. Emily like alot of my friends moved away. I remember one day on the bus mikayla decided to write a note to my mom and ask if
In middle school I had difficulty with math I did not know I had to find another way to learn, in high school I decided to make it my favorite sudject. My freshman year I stayed after school most of the time with help me alot for the next years in high school. Repetition was the key to solve my problem.
Middle School Today is the first day of school with my new friends I met over the summer - James,Mike and Drake. We all met at a camp called “Camp Highwater”. It was one of the best camps you could go to and my friends would say the same as well. We met while playing four on four basketball. James,Mike, and myself (Fred) were all on one team, but we were playing against Drake.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
