SOURCE: On Sunday, January 3, 2016 at approximately 1900 hours, I received a telephone call from Sgt. John Sanzone, who told me there was a drive by shooting that had just occurred. Sgt. Sanzone assigned me as the CSI lead on this case.
February sixth was the day of my last middle school game. We were playing our rivals , Ledford middle school. The first time we played them we only lost by two points. The first five starters for Ledford and our first five including myself were all standing at half court for tip off. The ref. threw the ball up and Gillian tipped it back to me.
All my life, I was always told that I was so smart and advanced for my age. Everything came easy to me: math, writing, reading, sports, and even playing many instruments. All this came with little work. So I seldom ever had to study or practice for anything. This occurred all throughout elementary and middle school.
I have grown as an academic student in college and career readiness, as displayed through my English 101 class. This was my third college class on the campus of Los Angeles Mission College, so I thought I was prepared and ready. Yet in my English 101 class I had to come up with my own prompts for my essays and merely came into class to listen to lectures on the basics of English. This was the first class that the teacher did not give me the rules on what to do for the assignment, I had to come up with it myself. Professor Diaz-Cooper did not hand out How-To papers or grading rubrics - she expected us to know and acquire all this information on our own.
I step out of my Dad’s blue shiny Honda van as he says “good luck on your first day”. I force up a weak smile as I close the door and it made a whoosh noise as it closes. I look at the entrance for a good five minutes. I take a deep breath and slowly as a turtle, a zombie and snails. I thought to myself, a zombie and a snails.
When walking in my dad was enraged and furious and as soon as we walked inside the conference room you could feel the tension in the room and see the frustration on the face of everyone in the room. So when the parents went on to talking saying that I was not safe for the school that I was a danger to society and that what I did was to not be tolerated at all and that I was to be banned from the school district because of my actions and so that their children would not have to walk around afraid of me while in school where they should feel safe. While the boys were sitting there the one boy who I pulled my friend off of I said go ahead and tell them the truth was it me or was it Blake that you were fighting and he said it was Blake. Blake my friend was my best friend we did everything together we had all the same class we always came to school together everything. When this came out I said tell them how you jumped Blake because he was hanging around me and not with you
Growing up was complicated. My hairstyle resembled a coconut. My teeth were abnormally crooked. Honestly, I was a living disaster. At the same time, I was raised by immigrant parents.
Satisfied with my work, I did the finishing touches on my portfolio and soon after realized my last writing assignment of high school is tomorrow. Although I have been waiting for this day for many years, it was sad to think that all my work has come to an end for high school. Coming into this class I was frightened from all the work that was assigned and was just hoping to finish with a “B” because I had never been a strong writer; however, half way through the semester I had seen a significant improvement in my writing skills and it is possible to finish with an “A”. I believe the reason it improved so much is because I time managed way more than have in previous years; in fact, most essays I had to write were written the night before they were do and I would just meet the length requirement without revising or editing.
There's a lot of drama in middle school and it can be tiring. There's always something going on around this school and nothing stays between you and someone else. My group in biotech class were talking about one of my friends. I didn't say anything against her, but the girl that said everything told her I said everything.
Everyone has had someone close pass away. Well in my case, it was my best friend Ethan. He pass away in 2013 from a mistake by the doctor. I know that he always wanted me happy, but that wasn’t always the case when he first was gone. let me tell you about our mind boggling years with Ethan.
It was the day before the first football game. Everybody was happy and couldn’t wait except for me. I was nervous and really wanted to do my best and prove to everybody that I was good enough. I was just sitting down waiting for school to start. Then I started to talk to my friend who underestimated me.
In middle school I had difficulty with math I did not know I had to find another way to learn, in high school I decided to make it my favorite sudject. My freshman year I stayed after school most of the time with help me alot for the next years in high school. Repetition was the key to solve my problem.
I may have a small problem with my ego. Sure, I know that just because I may find the work that I do to be amazing, doesn 't mean that everyone will think that my writing pieces are the best and hold it up for the world to see. But how in the world did I get into Intro to Creative Writing? Am I so untalented that I 'm forced to relearn the bedrock, the basic necessities of writing. I don 't think so.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
3rd Grade In third grade i started playing football. A couple of my friends had played flag football and told me how much fun it was. So in third grade i decided to try playing football because it was the first year you could actually hit.
