As I was walking towards the beach, the sun was beaming straight into my soul. I had the day off from work and decided to take a trip to the beach with my friend. It was a hot summer day, the forecast suggested a very hot and humid day. As I packed my essentials, I made my way to my friend’s house. We then took a while before boarding on the transportation. We stood local, rolled joint and smoked for a bit. As soon as we were done, we walked to the bus stop. Neither of us had a car, so we relied on public transportation. Around this time, we didn’t really Uber as much either. So, as soon as we got to the city, we decided to head to Coney Island. Both of us are then taking turn drinking on the subway, in such a subtle way where it’s not supposed to be noticeable. Anyway, as we arrive to the deck, the place is packed. People are everywhere, kids, adults, oldies, you name it. Still a nice day, those type of days where you know it’s going to be one of those great memories. One for the books I guess, the nonrealistic memory book. It’s funny though because as soon as we hit the shore, my friend and I, two dudes decide to approach us and start a conversation. We were being polite and responding back to them. Suddenly, they turned on us because we wanted to end the conversation. Let me say this, I don’t usually have the same day-off schedule as my friend.
