I served my two years in what was called the Great California Ventura Mission. What an experience it was for me to labor and work in such a beautiful part of our country. The weather on average year round was about typically 75 degrees Fahrenheit. This is due to the ocean breeze that cools the desert landscape to become a paradise.
Growing up in San Diego was fun. The beach was near my high school and it was the ultimate after school hangout. At the beach, you could enjoy the best homemade ice cream at Mootime Creamery. When my friends were hungry, we would head out to the closest taco shop. My favorite dishes are rolled and fish tacos.
I was never interested in tractors until I went to Louisiana last summer. Going to Louisiana was one of the best things that has ever happened to me during my life. Going to Louisiana was so awesome being able to watch and drive enormous diesel tractors and watch my uncle cut rice with a combine(which is a machine that is used to cut rice on a farm. It helped me learn about rice and the machines that farmers use to cut rice. I got to see where the rice is stored after it is cut, my uncle dries out the rice to get all the moisture out before they sell it and take the rice out of the rice bins.
Today was my first day in Tenochtitlan. While I was at the market buying food for myself, an old woman came up to me and asked me if I was a tourist. I said yes. She told me that she would take me to her house, and tell me all about the Aztec culture and the city, when I went to her house I saw a pregnant woman sitting on the couch. She looked up at me, then quickly looked down and ran out of the room.
An event that has influenced me greatly has definitely been the mission trips I partake in every summer. I've went on one each summer starting in 2015, in which i hope to continue this for many more years. Throughout the many trips I've taken, I have learned that everyone deserves the same amount of help and respect. You never know just how far the little acts you do can go for others. My first trip was to Virginia Beach, I first thought that it would be all fun and games.
When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.
Life is based on a foundation of decisions and circumstances compiled on a precarious perspective of the user. The structure often relies on small and often overlooked elements. They receive no recognition, yet are the very reason for its prosperity. Trade towns and old docks are the lifeblood of the world, but best suited away from the public eye. Meant for the undesirables to deal with.
was born in a small town in Texas known as Laredo. It was a poor city and was basically the border town to Mexico, it was always a mess, always hot, and only snowed once in 2002. Even though the city I was born in was harsh place, I had a great family that raised me well and taught me how to be respectful to my elders. Home was always different, every 2 to 3 years we always moved around so I really didn’t have many friends, until I moved to San Antonio is where I found a great home in 2007, the neighborhood was filled with nice people and each house actually had a lawn and not just broken cars or dried dirt in the front porches. The community was fantastic as well, the people and atmosphere we lived in when we moved to San Antonio was so much better than Laredo because people were actually nice to you and everyone didn’t look like they were going to cause trouble.
When I was two years old we moved to Keller, Texas from Pennsylvania. The only thing I remember about moving day is that it was Halloween. My dad recalls that I was being potty trained and had to use the bathroom at every house we stopped at when trick-or-treating. Many memories occurred in this house like every Sunday night when my sister and I would put on a talent show for my parents. Another example was when we would go swimming in the pool that we built when I was 7.
Last summer I went on vacation to Puerto Rico with my cousins. We did really fun things like snorkeling, a boat ride, and eating at many wonderful places. Although all those sound really fun, I want to talk about the time I met the most cutest, most fluffiest, most friendliest, animal ever. It all started off on a breezy summer night while my cousins and family were chillin’ at our hotel pool.
To the people of Cannon Beach, I, as an airman, would like to formally apologize for my actions and poor decisions made the morning of the nineteenth of August, 2017. My poor behavior put the lives of anyone traveling along Highway 101 at risk. I would also like to personally apologize to the police officer who could have lost their life as a direct result of my decision to drive exceedingly reckless. I would also like to thank the officer for stopping me before any suffering was inflicted by my choices. They have potentially saved another person’s life and saved me the guilt I would have felt had such an awful situation occurred.
Can you guess where my first trip was to? In May 13, 2003, I had my first trip to El Paso Texas. I woke up at 8am I was super excited and nervous at the same time, because I knew this trip would be a great experience for me. I was going to take a plane for the first time.
we stop at a couple of markets to buy souvenirs,by then we were all exhausted so we decided to call it a night. Morning came and we started are day, we went for a jet ski ride at the beach the beach water was amazing it was so clear and blue I just wanted to stay there all day long after the beach we all went to a resort the resort had lots of different things to do the first thing we did was swim underneath big caves the caves were dark and the water was so cold, after the caves we went snorkeling I have to say that was the best part of the trip I saw tons of different sea creatures I got to touch live stingray even though I was so scared I had to do
My Trip to Florida It was a cold winter night in Upstate New York. My mom and dad were enjoying a cup of coffee, my sisters were playing video games, and I was editing a few pictures on my computer. My mom brought up the idea of a vacation. She said” We haven’t been on a vacation for a long time”.
I went to the beach and went swimming almost every day. When I didn’t want to walk to the beach I could go to the back yard and jump in the pool we had. And at night when the pool started to get cold I could go on the upstairs balcony and get in the hot tub. The pool had lights in it but the hot tub had lights and jets. While I was down in North Carolina we went to a place with big sand dunes.
