Personal Narrative Analysis

Last year school and family became a conflict with each other. Yelling and fighting would happen at home and it would put me in a bad mood at school. Most of the yelling would be done at me by my parents or my sister. So I started talking to my counselor about once a week and I still do now. Some people would just think I was lying and say that they met my parents and sister and that they love me and care for me like it does not look like they would yell at me. Well my parents are not going to yell at me and either is my sister when their are guess over. All the yelling happens when people are not around and when no one else can see. The school’s in Finland are all fund evenly to make sure that the parents do not have to think the kid is better at another school. They also do not have to as many standardized tests as the United States does. Without having standardized tests like in the United State, the students have more time to focus on learning instead of studying for standardized test that they have to pass. They also have less homework than us. The average for Finland is less an hour day because they learn what they need in class so they do not need to do it at home. Letting them have more time for friends, family and other interests outside of school. Also they are not rushed into going into school like we are in the United States. They start school at seven unlike us at five. Student also get more breaks in between class so that have time for the information from the class before to digest. Another thing that is very important in Finland schools is that they are very big on respect because they allow the teacher to make their own curriculums with minimum guidelines and when teacher and students to have a bound between each other. Students also get a safe environment and to do so they get a free lunch and access to health care. With this policy they are fed and healthy both mentally and physically. Last thing in Finland, they have no private schools because they want their people to focus their energy and resources on their public school …show more content…

With the stress load so high, some people be tired, very upset about everything, and often has a headache. Parents are starting to worry about their kid’s stress load and the well being. Some stress is a good thing, but when the stress get to high it seem to make the student get overwhelmed. 40 percent of parent say their kids main reason for having stress caused from school. Most stress comes for academics and not social issue. 24 percent of parents say that homework is the main reason for stress in school. Nearly half of the teens say that they are stressed to all the pressure at school. If the stress load gets too bad it can cause people to feel sick and when they are sick they feel like they can do nothing. Things that could help are making sure that thing are balanced
