When I walked in through the door of the dentist 's office, I was a little bit nervous. I had done my best to blend in with the staff who all wore black scrubs. The front desk receptionist, Priscilla, told me to take a seat and I eased into the cold, black, leather sofa. I fumbled with my fingers nervously as if I was a patient about to get a root canal. However, I was told by Shannon Jolley that "you are the very first person on our alternates’ list and will likely be awarded a position, even in the next few weeks". I received this email in early March, and understand that it I was not guaranteed a position. Regardless, I wanted to make contact to say that I am still interested in taking a position if one becomes available.

These past few weeks I've spent many, many hours debating about a pretty big decision I've been trying to make. I've covered every aspect from making the better choice for my career or for my finances or how it will effect my family and friends, and I've finally decided based on what I WANT to do.
