I embody all five of DentalCorp’s core values, unity, innovation, accountability, courage, and care. It is important to me that I make a difference every day, big or small. I consistently look for and create opportunities to positively impact the environment I am in. Whether that looks like having a voice on a committee or helping a child overcome their fear of their first dental appointment by going the extra mile to be energetic and understanding, I seek to make positive impacts. I recognize the value of having a diverse community and seek to make opportunities to grow in my understanding of others. My classmates, faculty, and coworkers know me to be an accountable student and employee. My experience in customer service and administration, paired with my education in dental assisting and dental hygiene allows me to be a cross-trained employee who is willing to jump in and help accomplish any task in the dental office. I understand the fast-paced environment of dentistry and am always willing to lend a helping hand to coworkers to ensure our clients receive the best care while we as teammates feel valued. As a student, I recognize that I am just beginning to learn the ins and outs of this profession and I have learned the value of observing those ahead of me. I take note of feedback from instructors who have experience beyond my knowledge and use their feedback, good or bad, as an opportunity to grow and improve my skills. I can receive feedback well and recover quickly from upsets in the profession because I am passionate about being the best dental professional I can be.
