The transition from eighth grade to ninth grade is one of the most difficult but unforgettable things a student must do in his adolescence. For me, it was filled with new opportunities of taking Ap classes and joining clubs. One of these cubs was Youth and Government (Y&G). For as long as I can remember my brother, Riad, has boasted about how amazing Y&G is and how it has changed his life. My brother is three years older then me, so as a freshman he was a senior in Y&G.

A - The Stressor Event My daughter Jade is twenty three years old and has been in a common-law relationship for over two years. The man she is involved with is DJ and he has a three year old girl that lives in Ontario, that my daughter loves very much, from a previous relationship. In the recent past DJ had found a good job in Calgary Alberta and had decided to move for this opportunity even though it would be difficult for him to see his daughter. My daughter was committed to their relationship so she had moved to Calgary Alberta to be with him. In Calgary she had found a job at Walmart and quickly advanced to customer service representative.
In the summer of 2012, was when I was leaving for Virginia. A lot had happened in the previous months before this moment. Things such as my mom getting a new car, getting a new dog, my mom having a heart attack, and so on. Over everything that was happening, the biggest thing was moving across country from Arizona. Although, the hardest part for me was leaving my dad behind.

Anxiety is a mental disorder, therefore is caused mentally within ourselves. It is a disorder that causes fear towards something that puts you in a situation of feeling scared. Anxiety can lead to many different disorders within the same concept. It can lead you to the overwhelming sensation of terror towards anything. This disorder takes a long time to overcome since the person will feel compelled by all the fear they will have built within themselves.
In my brief life, I have overcome a lot of adversity. My mom fled Mexico with her three young children to escape domestic violence. When we came to this country we had only a few personal belongings and the promise of a better future. We came to this country and lived in a small trailer with no toilet other than a bucket, and no shower except for the one that was lent to us from the kindness of a stranger, our new neighbor. As a single parent, my mother had to work day and night to support us.

The Panic Attack The squeezing, suffocating pain in my chest. The fear of being judged that kept slowly building. Building up, like a volcano before it explodes. The intensity of the anxiety in the body for the first time. Finally realizing what it really meant to have a panic attack.
