It has a food bar, so when you get hungry, you can eat chicken and pizza. If you get bored, it even has reclining seats so you can relax. For entertainment you can play playstation 4 and the games you can play are NBA 2K17 and Madden 17.

This weekend we get to watch a Detroit Lions game! We’re driving down to the West branch to spend some time with our friends. I can’t wait it’s going to be so much fun! My family traveled down near West Branch where we stayed for the weekend with our friends, Brent, Ronda, and their son Brendan.
My church plays in the Turkey Bowl Flag Football Tournament every November. This was not only a time to bond with my youth group, but to also create friendships with other church teams. However, there was a problem: my team consisted of players from age 13-20; however, the 13 year olds had little-to-no flag football experience. Consequently, they got less playtime and slowly became discouraged However, as a leader I wanted to show them otherwise: I coached them, helped them, and give them a new perspective on the game.
Thousands of people are waiting. Thousands of people are wearing jerseys and talking about their favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. My family was part of the thousands on August 8, 2015. We had joined one of the many parties where people were excitedly waiting for Family Night at the Green Bay Packers Stadium. I really didn’t care about football at all, but I was still excited to go and watch with my family.
Bloody, bruised, and battered, Falls Church’s football team fought on in the fourth quarter. A football flew through the air as players crashed into one another sprinting to the ball, except I wasn’t on the field, nor was I on the sideline. I was a freshman watching our varsity footall team lose 0 to 48 on homecoming night, a familiar sight to many Falls Church students for the past 40 years. Those past 40 years are what has made Falls Church football the laughing stock of our conference, and since our school was one of the smallest high schools in the area, we never had the speed, size, or numbers to compete with other football teams. Our own school saw the team as a joke, 0-10 was a common season record, and being a Falls Church football
The Thursday night lights beamed down on me as kickoff approached. It was the last game of the 8th grade football season and the last chance to make my mark on a personally rather ordinary season. We were playing Celina, a team known to be a powerful opponent. I was on the kickoff return team, playing on the far left side of the field and on that particular night we were set to receive the kick. The referee’s whistle pierced the warm and soundless autumn air.
I can not remember a year where I was as excited for the Vikings season and then this goes and happens. Twenty minutes into practice on Tuesday Teddy Bridgewater took a snap from under center and as he was dropping back to pass he screamed in agony and went down. He suffered some sort of non contact knee injury. Everybody in the building could tell how serious the injury was by the reaction of the players, some cursed, some threw helmets, and some even prayed.
One Sunday night in October 2015 my dad went to a Packer game with a friend from work. On his way to the game my dad and his friend stopped at a party bus. His friend knew the guys that had the party bus so they stayed for a couple of drinks. My dad has always told me never to set your drink down because someone could put something in it. Well he should have taken his own advice because, he set his drink down for a bit then, when he went to pick his cup back up he ended up picking up a different cup that possibly had drugs in it.
In the 1960’s, the Civil Right movement was in full swing. Martin Luther King was holding rallies in Birmingham and other cities in the South. In 1963, the headlines across the nation state that six were dead in a Baptist Church in Birmingham. The “Ballad of Birmingham” is a tragic poem written in response to the bombing at the 16th Street Baptist Church, which is a meeting place for Civil Rights leaders. The poem describes an African-American mother and her daughter conversing about a "Freedom March" in the streets of Birmingham.
I had asked. She had said yes then left the room. I then had to move from Texas back to California with my mom, sister, brother, and pets. Once we arrived it was quite an adjustment, I gained an injury, a new academic program, and added responsibilities at home. I guess it didn’t have to be so hard, the move, but it was quite a difficult experience.
I asked to be excused, and I called my mom. "Hi mumma. " "Do you want two little boys?" "What the hell do you mean do I 'want two little boys '? "
This plan seemed solid, with no margin for error until sadly it all ended. The end of my football dreams happened when I was fourteen playing football in the backyard with my friend Daniel. Me and Daniel used to always make up dumb football plays for back yard football. One day, before I was going to play a football game, we were making up plays and collided into one another. From his shoulder going into my collar bone, it broke, and I had no idea.
