Personal Narrative: How I Raise My Grade

It's about to happen! My turn is next and the time is just sprinting before I go. It's the time to raise my grade and make sure that I graduate high school. This is where my Economic presentation took place, the most terrifying job I would ever do is just to present in front of my class. However, it is the opportunity where I will be able to raise my grade and make sure I am in the right track. All the sudden, “Chapter 5 Section 3 is up!” my economics teacher said. As I was walking to the front of the class, I could feel my heart beats in my throat, my face was burning and my hands felt like there were melting. I introduced myself to the class and told them what I was going to talk about for the next couple minutes. I started my presentation and going on I started feeling more confident. I started looking up to my classmates and I felt like I was the teacher there and that English was not my second language but my first. I mean no one is perfect and we all come to school and learn. We all make mistakes sometimes silly ones and sometimes really big ones but at the end there is a lesson that needs to be learned. I thought about what happened and figured out that it's okay that my classmates thought it was funny. What happened does not stop me from having a better grade in that class. This all ties up to not quitting or giving up just because of a silly mistake. I am an English learner and I want to be successful therefore I have to try my best and even if I make a mistake, I will just try to either fix it or do better next time. I learned that there will always be people that would try to stop me from achieving but I should just ignore them. This situation will make me stronger and a better presenter next time and I will work harder and practice presenting before going on to make sure I am good to
