I am Thad's Walk to Read teacher. I enjoy having him in my class and love seeing his excitement for reading. I am also the Intermediate School Librarian and have worked with him since 3rd grade. I'm sorry I was unable to attend your parent teacher conference as I was also running the annual book fair.

As his Walk to Read teacher, I have allowed him to choose his novel. He selected Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I borrowed the book from the Middle School Library. We then made an agreement that he would read 20 pages a day (combination of in and out of school). However, for the past two days he hasn't brought the book with him. I asked his home room teacher to allow him to call home today.
