I am writer. Every single person in the world is a writer. Some write for pleasure, for school and for work. Writing helps us keep history alive. I personally love writing. I love sharing my opinion. Social media and journalistic writing is my passion. I also love writing diary style. Writing is a sort of vice for me. When I need a release that I cannot achieve through acting, I write. Today, I actually wrote in my diary. I do not write in my diary every day simply because there is not something important that happens every single day of my life. During my senior year of high school, I was in a Marketing class, and in that class we were required to come up with marketing plans and events. I even created a business as if I was going to appear on Shark Tank! I am good at professional persuasive writing like business writing, but I would prefer not to do it. Professional writing does not scream “Jasmine Moore.” My forte is a mix between journalistic and creative writing. My junior year of high school I took part in this teen magazine called Pulse. About 10 students, including myself, got together for about 5 Saturdays and we created a magazine. I had two articles in the magazine, one on bullying and the other on body shaming. I feel like creative journalism like that is my calling. I am not a traditional journalistic writer. I put my own twist and flair on whatever I write. I guess you could say I am a product of the times. I read Buzz Feed all the time and that is what I want to do. I want to write for Buzz Feed. They may not be the most academic or professional source of information out there but they connect with the youth. I feel like having that type of open connection within your writing is so
