And being a patriot is apart of the American dream which I believe in. In the address" Address On The Occasion Of The Fiftieth Anniversary Of The Statue Of Liberty" President Franklin D. Roosevelt talks about all the memories the eager seeking millions that make this one of the greatest countries on the planet earth.
America. Land of the free, and home of the brave. It has always been this way. From the first settlers to now in 2015. America has been my home and always will be.
For many years, and years to come, America has been a country that many people like to visit and enjoy. We are very patriotic here in America, many people believe in our country’s ways and leaders. People enjoy visiting America not only because of our wonderful land and nature, but also because people like to see what it is like to be free and to have freedom of expression and all of those amendments that make our country free and great. Though we do have great lands and an extremity of beautiful nature surrounding us, especially here in Michigan. America has been known as a very patriotic and fair country, we are the land of the free and home of the brave.
The America I believe in is something to be proud of… America is country of independence and freedom. America is a democracy, a country where all opinions matter. A country of compassion. A place where you can get an education and follow your dreams. A country that varies in different cultures and ethnics, where foods, holidays and religions are spread across america.
I used to have this grudges in my heart when everything go hard that would made me wanted to blame my parent. But I can’t because I was not raise to think that way. When I come to America, I was eleven years old and no one asked me if I wanted to come it just happen in a second. I was in a cold place with extended family that I never met before and that one person who raise me and made me feel secure was still back in the country. I had to lived months without her and next thing you know I adapted and convince myself they are doing this because the wanted the best for me.
The America I believe in is a wonderful place, much like childhood, where our country is spared from everything else going around it. Safe from the danger, and oblivious to anything else that might harm us, yet still cautious to be safe. The America I believe in would be safe, no one having to worry about getting hurt just by going outside, and while this may be nearly impossible, I believe our country, being one of a kind, can accomplish this. Our country is free, yet safe, advanced, yet modest, and for these reasons I have faith that America can pick itself up when it falls and keep going as though it never happened, can continue to advance despite threats from elsewhere, and despite what happens, our country has left a mark on this world,
I envision America to be great and free from other country’s there is out there in the world. The founding fathers founded freedom and the morals in America. America is the land of the free and that is how Uncle Sam wanted the world to see America how it really is the land of the free and the land of new opportunity. America wanted to be viewed as a great and powerful nation and so it was and you can come to America seeking jobs and can live an America life. America is different than other countries such as Iraq, Syria, and many more they don’t have the same liberals and morals as Americans and that’s what makes America the best country I envision.
America is an amazing country due to the rights provided to the people through the Constitution. The Constitution ensures that anyone coming to this country is provided the rights they deserve to live a free and happy life. The Constitution consists of many parts including the
America is a great country. It is the great melting pot of races, religions, and beliefs. Americans have freedom and rights to think independently from their neighbors. We’ve rightfully earned this way of living, for history has taught us that our ancestors fought for this. Each American individual is equal, but it is our uniqueness that binds us together.
America is known for many things, such as its history, music, food, clothing style, education, and for being known as the Land of opportunities. Since 1765, The U.S. has been fighting for its freedom to get to where Americans are today and to give the Americans the future they deserve. The most recognized and valued treasure this country has respected for many years is the Pledge of Allegiance and the glory of having to stand up and show the pride there is. I, for one, think that the Pledge of Allegiance is a great representation of the beauty, strength, faith, and perseverance this nation possesses because of the way each word in the pledge has a strong and significant meaning.
It was once said that “America is the greatest, freest and most decent society in existence“. It is an oasis of goodness in a desert of cynicism and barbarism; this country, once an experiment unique in the world, is now the last best hope for the world“. Today, many Americans share these sentiments. In fact, for many, America is more than a country; it is also a philosophy and a way of life. Since its inception, the founding fathers believed that they could create a nation unlike any other.
The America I believe in is where everyone is to be respected, no matter of their religion or race. Before this country was even founded we have stood by one another through many tragic events in history. We’ve gone through many wars and even a war against ourselves. Heck, we almost had a nuclear war! The one thing that matters is that we all have gotten through it all together.
The first eight years of my life, I spent in India where I was born. Growing up I was constantly reminded by my parents that I needed to make them proud by getting a good job and living a good lifestyle. They told me this because they did not want to see me live a hard life like they did. When I was nine years old, I moved from India to the United States of America. The reason why I moved to America was not because I was living a bad life in India, it was so that I could have a better education and more opportunities in life.
“America was born out of a desire for self-determination, a longing for the human dignity that only independence can bring.” Maurice Saatchi may be British, but his quote about America exemplifies what the country stands for. America is not an Anthem society because we value individualism, not collectivism. We are free to express ourselves, no matter what we think. We are free to learn what we want.
