The interpersonal skills I have developed while employed by EZfreEZee will be useful to me in the future. Moreover, the guidance you have given me along the way has been invaluable. If I can be of assistance throughout this transitional period, please do not
In summary, on 09/21/15 at 0418 hours I was patrolling the area of 1600 S. Laramie Ave., at which time I observed a male subject with a youthful appearance walking northbound 16th Street. I made contact with the subject, at which time he identified himself as (Rosas, Alexis DOB 04/21/97). While speaking with Rosas, I detected a strong odor of fresh cannabis emanating from his person. Rosas related he had some cannabis in his sweater pocket. I recovered a silver box containing a green leafy substance from Rosas ' right sweater pocket.
1. What are your employment needs and goals now and in the future; what are you searching for? Being challenged, involved, and empowered. I would like to grow within the position as well as gaining all of the knowledge in order to be a great addition to the organization.
Throughout life, we all have wished that we could have a do-over. We have done many things we wish we could go back and change. If I could have a do-over, I would join the St. Lawrence County Dairy Promotion sooner than I did. I would have joined four years ago instead of in 2015.
It 's a surprise at times to think I have been a Realtor for over 22 years – how time does fly! I live in one of the most beautiful areas of Canada, Chilliwack BC. Chilliwack is in the Upper Fraser Valley, 100 km east of Vancouver BC. The urban/rural mix of the community is unique because it offers a wide range of lifestyles, making this area a very special place to live. With this unique setting comes many different styles of homes and price ranges.
The “hood” is often what downtown, Elizabeth NJ is labeled as. Children like me are doubted as many people seem to believe we will just become another statistic. My background has motivated to strive for success, proving those with agnosticism wrong. Seeing bodies strung out on the corner or laying on the sidewalk is a part of my everyday life. I’m not ashamed of where I come from as it has made me who I am today.
My Michigan Hero I want you to think of someone special, to think of a hero. When I think of a hero I think of my dad. I remember when I was younger, and I didn’t like to read. My dad taught me just how amazing reading is.
Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island, where the fog rises before your eyes. In the summer between the tenth and eleventh grade, my family decided that Vancouver Island would be lovely to visit. I agreed; I would have a chance to photograph what I never have before. Although it was summer, the temperature was significantly lower, with the sun straying close to the clouds. I remember the open sea, in all its unrestrained glory, the way it nipped at me as I strayed near the edge of the cliffs, I did that often.
I have lived in East Oakland my whole life. To the majority of people, the mention of East Oakland evokes thoughts of violence, shootings, and gangs. I was one of the people who believed in these stereotypes, and for a particularly long time. I was one of the people who saw Oakland as a wasteland, a place with nothing to offer me, and a place I had nothing to offer to.
I started Scouts when my family moved to Melbourne. I complete 10 months of scouting and had attended many camps in Victoria and had completed my pioneer badges and earned my red cord. Later that year I moved to just outside of Canberra. After meeting Scouts at my first camp in NSW, I was invited on my first green cord hike shortly after turning 12. After completing my basic Scout leadership course, before I turned 13, I was awarded my Blue cord.
While gazing at the stars on a beautiful winter night, I received a phone call. It was mother. Whimpering, she said "will you please come to the living room. " My mind racing of a million thoughts, "what did I do?" "I hope I 'm not in trouble."
One moment in Canadian history I feel ashamed of is WW2 and people’s rights. From the moment WW2 was declared, The Measures Act was put into effect to take away certain ethnic groups and national groups’ rights. Japanese Canadians were not allowed to vote or serve in the army, their families were separated and sent into internment camps, and their belongings were taken away. Canadians of German and Italian descent were put into prison camps, Enemy Aliens were required to register with the RCMP and report to the police every month, and anyone sympathizing with Nazism, fascists, and communists were arrested. Since the Canadian government treated those groups of people horribly, this is a moment of history that does not represent unity and is
Sitting in the car I saw the sign that read “Canada Next Exit- Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal.” The car turned left and the bridge came into sight; I felt nervous of what lay across the calm and icy St. Lawrence River. I was about to leave America for the very first time and be in a place with different customs, and different beliefs, a place that wasn't home. I played hockey for a youth team in my town and the league was set up so half the teams were American and the other half was Canadian. So hockey is what ultimately brought me to Canada for the very first time.
Hey! Today I 'm glad to present to you my journey to Canada. As you all know, the world is big and divided into many different countries. A few classmates and I had the chance to participate in a very special opportunity to travel across the world and see how people live in different cultures. We got to travel to Toronto, the largest city in Canada.
