Personal Narrative: Ice's House

It does not take me very long to take him up on that offer.
After hearing a bit more about his family, I’ve been curious to see what Ice’s house is like and learn more about their lifestyle. His parents are fairly important people – CEOs of a large corporation and active philanthropists.
I wonder how that will be reflected in his family home.
While on the way, I imagine a huge, modern house on a hill with a glass wall facing a roundabout driveway. Like something a movie star would live in. Maybe it would have a big pool out back.
This image sticks in my brain until Ice’s car stops outside the gates of a private community. He has to punch a password into a keypad before the gates open and we’re able to continue on.

I’ve heard about transgender people in the news, but I’ve never met any in person before now. Upon closer inspection, I do notice that he’s a couple inches taller than her and definitely has a more masculine facial structure.
I thought it was weird how they looked so similar, but I never would have guessed it was something like that. No matter how many times I look him over, he looks like a normal guy. If anything, he’s the perfect male version of Night.
He almost looks nervous, though. I wonder how many times he’s gone through this type of introduction. I can’t imagine the reactions he may have received in the past, so I definitely don’t want to come across as rude.
“That’s kind of cool,” I say finally.
“I think it’s neat too,” Night replies with a grin. “We’re identical twins, but my twin is the opposite gender. I doubt many get to say that.”
“Well, it’s nice to meet you.”
He meets my gaze and cracks a lazy half-smile. “I hear you’re hanging around with Ice.”
“I guess you could say that,” I say, scratching my cheek.
“Pretty weird,” he says in a sing-song
