Occasionally, the peers of the officers who were involved in fatal shootings were reported to have exacerbated an already stressful situation. In several instances, it was reported that the peers did not treat their colleagues in the same manner as before the shooting incident. The perception was that these peers would often isolate or ignore the officer. In other cases, the perception was that the peers would provide inappropriate gestures of
In this fear, I always tried to do make him proud. I always took part in quizzes and debates, just to see a glimpse of smile on his face. “Very well, but could have done better” that was his words every time it tries to do something for him. I was uncertain will I ever be able to make him proud and receive that love that I always dream about. Nov 22nd 2010, it was Dad’s birthday we had very sophisticated dinner that night, but it suddenly changed.
It was a cold breezy morning when I walked outside. Goosebumps cover my body because of excitement and nervousness. It was finally here, opening day for the gun hunt.. Grabbing my blaze orange and unzipping the jacket, I put it on. I grabbed my hat and put it on my head. My dad unhinged the gun case and took my gun out.
Hello Professor Clement after reading over the scenario again I feel that his death could have been caused by an accident because he could have been with some friends who were trespassing on the property and drinking. Therefore, given his age he could have been drunk and fell which may have caused him to hit his head. There is also the fact that he could have had a medical condition which no one knew about which could have caused him to have a sudden heart attack because a heart attack has no age of person. Furthermore, if the victim was not murdered and there was others with him but they were trespassing they would not want to get in trouble for being on someone else’s property without permission plus they could have been drinking and had
I responded to Troy Regional Medical Center ER in reference to a shooting victim. On scene I met with Jacob Lynn who stated he shot himself in the leg. On scene I observed that he had a gunshot wound to his right thigh. Lynn stated that he was trying to clear the weapon when it went off. He stated that the weapon was a silver .380 semi auto handgun.
It took them a whole month before i could go before a judge. I was sitting in my cell waiting for the correctional officer to come get me. I was ready to be outside these damn walls. Being here for over a month was killing me, I was missing out on my money and I haven't been getting no pussy. I mean there was some correctional officers that liked fucking inmates, but I didn’t feel right stepping out on Carmen

I've noticed I've been getting shot gun in Sammy's car pretty often now, and that makes me so happy cuz everyone always beats me to it hahah but anyways no one wanted to go get our table last night and then when we did, 80% of our party wasn't even there! So we literally had to wait like 2 hours to get seated and let me tell you, a BITCH was hungry and cold but it's ok cuz afterwards when I got home I knocked out so quick and probably had the best slumber of my ENTIRE LIFE!!! It's just crazy to think that if they never cancelled the game my day would've been completely
The heart of the district has grappled with a surge of the death of African American teens that are killed before they are graduate high school, go to college, or raise a family, they are leaving their parents hollering at the top of their lungs at their funeral about the unsolved murders. Often enough many parents in D.C. are losing their children live to unnecessary gun violence, gang affiliations, and sex trafficking life. As a D.C. native and an African American teen in the District of Columbia area, I believe that it's my obligation to help out my city in need of help and a voice of justice. As a future forensic biologist student, I would love to utilize my degree and my voice to advocate for the brutal crime that my fellow Black brothers
At first when I was told I would be able to speak my mind as to what my thoughts would be on the effects of what happened and what Mr. Wilson should receive as a time to serve I knew exactly what to say, but when you begin putting pen to paper you get lost and all the fears and anxiety continue at a high level. Below are what continue to haunt me and my children on a daily basis. I still recall the time you woke up and looked over at me with this crazed look in your eyes. You kicked me so hard in my right jaw and right upper arm. I fell into the night stand, then onto the floor next to the bed.
In 1776 our founding fathers wrote the Bill of Rights, ten rights that all American citizens would have. These rights protect and ensure the rights of all citizens from any government intervention. The second amendment guarantees that the right to own guns won’t be taken away. Many today do not realize why this amendment is here and believe that it is outdated, this is very wrong. A common misconception is that guns are only used for hunting and you don’t need and AR15 to hunt.
It was a warm March day. The semester had just reached the halfway point and people were scrambling to get grades up, to finish projects, and meet deadlines. Through all the chaos of school nobody was able to see the new era that was about to be thrust upon them. It was speculated and rumored about, that the Principle, Wade Martin, was scheming something sinister, nothing the likes of Middle Creek have ever seen before. It was his mad power grab, The Tardy Policy.
It of course is upsetting when you hear that any number lives of innocent lives have been taken. Especially at the mercy of a lunatic who could not control his mental capacity to the point of going literally insane. You feel as though you have been robbed of your freedom as an american; therefore the feeling of safety, which is granted as a citizen, is threatened by people in possession of guns. Think of the families. How many kids have never come home from school.
After a death or loss of something close, people usually react similarly by going through the five stages of grief. These stages include denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. During a death of my Great Aunt, my family went through the stages of grief. I was close with her when I was younger, but I do not have many memories I remember with her so I did not experience much grief. On the other hand, my Great Uncle went through a lot of grief since she was his older sister.
It was a normal summer day. My friends have decided to all meet up at one of our houses to hang out. After we met up we all decided that we would wait around nighttime to decide on something to do. As nighttime approached we all agreed to have an air rifle war around the neighborhood, with most people asleep at the time, it was the perfect thing to do. We were running around the neighborhood shooting each other with the air rifles.
