Another day at Fenway. The Boston Red Sox are trailing the Cincinnati Reds 4-1 and Mookie Betts (The Red Sox Right Fielder) comes to the bat for the first time tonight due to a sore arm. Bronson Arroyo (Reds Pitcher) throws a wicked curveball that is almost impossible to hit. But Mookie knew that this ball was long gone. Arroyo thought he was gonna strike out Mookie
I woke up and was at the ballpark sitting in the first row right behind home plate. I watched as each player on the team warmed up by throwing and receiving and also fielding the ball. The teams were both working on catching pop flies and then throwing the ball to their cut off guy. Each teams pitcher was done warming up by pitching to the catcher the teams went in the dugouts to get ready for the game. Finally, the first World Series baseball game has begun.

Go cubs go November, 2, 2016 the Chicago Cubs won the world series. On November, 4, 2016 they held a parade in Chicago. At 8:00 in the morning I woke up to my parents telling me to get ready. I put on my Cubs shirt, ate two eggs and ham, then went straight to the train station. As we went through each stop all you could see was blue and white shirts, hats, and W flags.
Two years ago I played for the Carolina Reds. After a while we all determined we wanted a ring. During our first year we battled so hard to win a ring tournament. However we came up short every time.
It only took about a 45 minute drive. Once we got to the field, I opened up the car door, and took a huge deep breath saying to myself, what another great day. I got out of the car and could start to smell hot dogs and humidity. We got into our dugout and started to get ready by putting our cleats and stuff on.
A while after, my mom and I went in search of more seats. This turned out to fruitless journey, because I refused to sit in any of them. So we traveled back up all those escalators and returned back to the balcony. Now tired of standing and just waiting for the game to be over, I decided to try and sit in the seats again. So, slowly and carefully I shuffled over to my seat and sat down and gripped the armrest tightly.
The dust has settled. A week removed from my first trip to the Baseball Winter Meetings in Nashville, I am already looking forward to next years meetings in DC. There were no dull moments to be had at the Winter Wonderland, otherwise known as the Opryland Hotel. The energy in the air was palpable. Great baseball minds coming together to inform through workshops, honor those in the "family" and make moves to improve their teams.
The Mirriam-Webster Dictionary defines sane as having a healthy or sound mind however no one could possibly know what it means to be sane. Some people would consider, that to be sane means to be normal, but there really is no such thing as normal. Mostly everyone has thoughts and emotions in the world and they can differ from person to person. A mind can be influenced by culture as well as genetics and therefore sanity can be viewed differently depending on someone’s’ beliefs. Just like in One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, someone can behave a certain way if that is what is expected in the society for which you are expected to fit in.
My family and I were in Ohio visiting family when we got the news that my uncle had tickets available for us so that we could go to the game. We left early on Sunday morning with a plan of seeing a quality football game. However, there one thing that would this more difficult than we had hoped. It was a cold day in Kansas City, and it started to ran as we came in.
I 'm just minding my business doing this and that then a speaker came on saying that if someone writes an essay about the cubs game from last year, they get to go to a chicago cubs game. I started the essay and talked about what happened at last year 's game. I am finished with it and gave it to the radio people and won the tickets. I was so happy that I get to go to a cubs game. I expect at a baseball game to have gloves, bats, and players on the field.so I get prepared by getting my jacket just in case it gets cold, a glove so that I can catch a baseball,drinks and food.
“Unfortunately, Jack, there will not be many opportunities for you this year.” Seconds after being told I had made the varsity baseball team, I did not expect my coach to so bluntly tell me I would be spending more time watching the game than playing it. Our state ranked team had a pitching staff full of Division 1 commitments and future MLB draft picks, and I was being told I did not measure up. The bench became my best friend.
I have been interested in baseball ever since I was three, I went to a cardinals game and I got a monkey. I know it sounds weird but they had a monkey with velcro hands and feet and I would hang him around my neck all the time. I still have the monkey today.
There are a lot of Cubs fans in the World, especially right now. I hope all these people someday get to experience the excitement of Wrigley field. This is something I have experienced many times. My first trip to Wrigley field was when I was 10 I will never forget that experience. When we arrived at the field I saw the entrance to Wrigley which I had seen so many times on tv.
Everyone 's at least broken a bone or injured themselves before right? Well this is one of those tragic stories where I unfortunately injured myself. It all started way back in the 5th grade and all my friends and family know I love & play the game of baseball. The baseball season for the little league I play for is about to begin in about 1-2 weeks.
