My Favorite Trip to Lagoon... This memory was the first time I have ever been in Lagoon. This was around when I was about in 5th grade.The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the flowers were blooming; ‘Chirp, Chirp, Scream!’. During Summer School, in the middle of the day, my best friend Antonella didn’t come to school because she decided to take a break, and go to Lagoon. I was on the computers playing some games along with some of my other friends. All of a sudden, I was called down to the office for who knows what. I didn’t question it, but logged off of the computer. I stood up, and got my stuff. Anyway, I went downstairs, questioning to myself why I was leaving so early. ‘My mom didn’t tell me anything about going somewhere.’ I thought to myself. When I make it to the office, I overheard the conversation of me going to a doctors appointment. ‘My mom would have told me this, but I guess that she didn’t because she wanted to keep it as a surprise?’ I came around the corner, seeing Antonella’s Mom. We went over to a little photobooth, and we got a map to see all of the different rides and stuff that we would do. My eyes looked straight at the pool. I couldn’t wait for that time to go to the pool, even though I wasn’t sure that we were going to go to the pool. “Mel, just to tell you, we are going to go to the pool.” Antonella said. I silently cheered to myself, and went onto my first ride in Lagoon and my first ever roller coaster ride in my life. I don’t remember the name, but it was right next to the pool area. Since this was my first time going on a roller coaster, I felt butterflies in my stomach, again. Ashleyn (Antonella’s little sister) told me to not be afraid.
