It was a frigid, windy morning in the fall and I was on the bus laughing with my friends. "Hey Sophie & Hannah sit with us!" I called out to them. Finally we got to Kaneland John Shields Elementary school, I walked into my 1st grade class. Mr.Wenz (my teacher) was franticly running around the room yelling, "Good morning class, unpack, go to the bathroom, and then line up when you're done!" He was trying to get everyone in groups of 4. My class was going on a field trip to the shedd aquarium. My group had Hannah, Sophie, Abby and me, we were all really good friends. I walked into the classroom late, so I didn't get to go to the bathroom, I asked when we go to the shedd aquarium, "May I go to the bathroom?" "You may go, but we are moving on and we are going down the right hallway," the teacher sighed. I couldn't run of course so I walked a little bit fast so I wouldn't miss too much. When I was going to the bathroom I got out and went to the right hallway, the hallway was dark and mysterious.The hallway only had light coming from the two halls that connected the hall together. I saw all these rooms that were labeled "Sounds of the ocean," & "Sounds of the sea." I ran into each of those rooms trying to see if my class was in there. there was a family in one, they asked me why I went in there when the light was red, which meant the room was in use. I told them I was lost, sorry I barged in like that and also because I thought they were my class. The rooms were big and painted black with 5 rows of stools and big long tables in front of the stools with headphones on the table.There were two big red buttons on the walls that was labeled "PUSH, to listen to the Sounds of the Ocean," or "PUSH, to listen to Sounds of the Sea."
