Over the course 3 years in High School, the mistakes I made are what people identified me with. While many of these mistakes are something I may partially regret, I realize that this “partially” is an underscore of what I see. Many of these mistakes I made happened at a much different circumstance that what others had dealt with before. I was able to make those mistakes in a setting and perception that nobody else could afford. While everyone changed, grew, and matured, I had the opportunity to stay behind and develop an ideology that exceeded well beyond the capacity of others.
For example, I missed out on countless job and volunteer opportunities due to my nervousness. Due to the exposure of responsibilities and mistakes at such a young age, I have grown up be a mature, young adult.
“Nothing will work unless you do.” -Maya Angelou Entering my Junior year of high school I was forewarned about the most important and hardest year of my high school career, the year was looking more negative than positive from the advice given. Despite those comments I decided to enter with a positive mindset starting with my soccer season. I had been playing since I was 6, captain of my middle school team, injured my freshmen year, and was having one of the best seasons my Junior year for both my school team and out of school league.
8th grade One cold day in October I was on my way to class when the school had a gas drill, everyone ran outside and lined up by there teachers, everything was going well for me till some girls keep putting grass on my hoodie “stop doing that, also why are you doing that?” after I said that they stops for a minute and started doing it again, “you know that this is boring so just let me do this *smile*” said the girl although it was itchy and made me mad I let her do it till we went inside and since then we’ve been friends.
I had a classmate in seventh grade named Andrew. He was extremely down to earth and incredibly funny. In fact, he was known as the class clown. Andrew and I were good friends. We had a few classes together
Have you ever had a moment in your life when you were moved so much, that it affected your future? Well this is the story of how that happened to me. All this happened during the transition from middle school to high school. The decisions I had made in this time changed my viewpoints on my future, high school, academics, friends, my future, as well as life itself. It was moments like this that are crucial in ones’ life.
All of my high school years i 've wanted to be remembered and leave an impact on this school. I wanted to be involved and try my hardest in everything I do, and excel even more. I love this school and would not want to graduate from anywhere else, continuing my family tradition. I have been a participant in track, show choir and also band.
Braces, pimples and waiting for rides from mom after football practice, this is how many student athletes describe their junior high school years. My junior high school experience did not greatly differ from this standard. However, towards the end of my junior high career, I began transition from childhood to adulthood. Specifically, when I made the decision in eighth grade to switch schools and made a personal commitment to play high school football.
Throughout my high school experience I have learned things that won’t be useful to me once I graduate and on the other hand I have found many skills throughout high school that’ll help me reach to my end goal. These goals of are to go to college and find a job that excites me rather than doing the same routine I’ve been doing for the past 17 years of my life; wake up, school for 8 hours, then sleep. What a life. Being that, I will cherish my time in high school for it has taught me my lessons that I’ll be using for a while now.
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
1. During my first 2 year of high-school, I was on a fast track to success but everything changed my school tuition dramatically increased from 9500 dollars to 15,000 dollars. Since we lived on income of $47k a year, you could imagine how paying $25,000 on your children’s education (including my sister) would be extremely difficult. However, my parents always believed in granting their children with the best they are capable of giving.
I had to give up parts of my childhood, but instead I learned lessons that will enrich my life to new levels. Along with learning who I am, I also began to pick up on how to treat people with respect, use my curiosity in ways that positively help someone to further improve as a functioning person, listen and convey my level of concern to a person, as well as fully respect boundaries. All of these lessons I have learned helped to push me into the field of my choice, and therefore have been a backbone to why I choose to pursue a career in
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
Life is full of challenges, it 's unfair. It can weigh on you until you can 't breathe. With life 's adversities, I come up with two options: you can let life squish you or you can learn to ride with it. When it comes down to mistakes, or not knowing what to do, you can let something bad dictate your life and what 's become of it, or you can use it to your benefit to learn from it. Everything is a learning experience.
That wasn’t a difficult decision for me I knew I would stay with my mom since I have a better relationship with her. We all stay in the same household to this day but my mom stays in my room. My parents have figured out to have a somewhat cordial relationship where my dad can help my mom. They are currently still trying to look for house for us to move in.
