Personal Narrative: My Life In High School

When everyone says High school goes by fast they’re not lying at all. Junior year was big for me at both school and outside of school. I was hired at Weedman lawncare where i learned about real estate and how to stay warm walking around in the cold. Everyday during my lunch period me and a couple of friends would help and play with the special needs children in the gym. I ran cross-country and track my junior year. I won MVP in cross-country and i was a captain in indoor/outdoor track. I made it to states during indoor track and made it to regional finals during outdoor. During outdoor track season i quit working at Weedman lawncare because it was interfering with my grades and track. The first 3 quarters i kept my grades up for the most part. …show more content…

It felt great to be apart of the “upper class” and even better to be closer and closer to my senior year. The main reason it felt great was because i only had one more year until i was done with highschool and finally go live on a college campus. Finally getting the freedom of not sleeping in your parents house under their rules. Leaving the nest for the first to go into the real world. Working hard in college can only be good. Getting a job while you 're in college will be even better. Having a job/money during college can help you start paying off student loans and books. My junior year i worked really hard outside of school. I did anything i could to earn money. I used to do extra chores, cut grass, and babysit. Even though you 're not making $100s and $100s of dollars at one time the money will still add up if you save it. I never like asking my parents for money so i just save it. I brought me the shoes i preferred instead of the ones my parents were going to get me. I brought the clothes i wanted. My parents couldn 't tell me i couldn 't but the stuff i wanted because i worked hard for the money. I worked even harder to get my temps. I studied everyday and passed the test
