This is my personal coat of arms. There are many symbols on it. On my personal coat of arms there are the flags of Philippines, England and Kenya. There are also a plane midair, a red medical cross, a stack of books, a bunny, a wooden cottage, and a Fleur de Lis. Here is what they mean. The flag on the top left corner of my coat of arms is the flag of Philippines. This flag symbolises one of my backgrounds. My mother’s side of the family is part Filipino. My mother was born I Canada, unlike her mother (my grandmother) and other relatives who were born in Philippines. To the right of the Philippines flag is the flag of England. I have only been to a cottage once that my parents rented last year in Emsdale, an hour away from Algonquin Park and I enjoyed it greatly. We went kayaking, canoeing, and went to Algonquin park for the first time to explore. The wooden cottage house symbolises my hope to purchase one with my family when I am older where we would go during the weekends to escape the polluted city. To the left of the wooden cottage house is a drawing of my pet bunny, Cookie. This drawing not only symbolises my love for him, but for all animals. I love animals and spend some of my free time when the weather is nice going out to conservation areas to feed the animals and enjoy the scenery. Cookie is the family pet of our house. I also have a Red Eared Slider Turtle as well as some fish and crustacean. Below the drawing of my pet bunny and the wooden cottage house is a Fleure de Lis. This flower is associated with the Monarchy of France and is on the Québec flag. This symbolises my interest in learning the French language. I plan on taking French for all four years of high school and I hope to extend my knowledge on the language after high
