Having my high school at the AP program established under SCNU was always one of my luckiest things happened to me. At here, I was trained to be priorly familiar with the U.S. education system and successful after coming to the U.S. where all the students were supposed to go. In order to be prepared, I was trained to write different kinds of essays, including laboratory report, social science research paper and literature expository writing. I have started to write all these kinds of essays since grade 10, and every writing assignment has gone through the process of outlining, drafting, peer proofreading and editing. At college, my writing style hasn’t really changed, yet, the way I write an essay has changed.

Writing process People think the writing process is the hardest part of writing a paper. I would have to agree absolutely with them. There is so much to the writing process that it all get confusing. You have to make sure you have your commas and all your punctuations marks in the right spot.
On many levels my style of writing has changed, I believe that I have got a lot better in my writing. It’s still very clear that I have a lot of areas that I need to work on. Exit Essay Before fall semester started my writing skill were not the best as my high school was not as strict in writing structure. The way I write has gotten sloppy and careless but I saw some improvement this fall semester In semester in English 1301, I have relearn grammar and sentence structure.
The Second World War was a global conflict that lasted from 1939 to 1945. It involved most countries of the world, except for a few countries which remained neutral. The war was fought between two main groups: the Allies and the Axis Powers. The two main belligerent powers were the United States and its allies, commonly known as the Allied Powers, and Germany and its allies, commonly known as the Axis Powers. The Allies won this conflict because they had more powerful military forces than their opponents at all times throughout the entire war.
My revision strategy will be to take more detailed notes. To use the strategies we have learned, like building my key points of evidence. I will also start working on my final essay weeks ahead. This will enable me to receive feedback from the writing center to help revise my essay. In conclusion, I will use my feedback to create a well taught out and a more organized picture of my analyzation of Some lessons from the assembly line.
Adjust- Evaluate- Learn In the process of writing my Really Big Shoe, I have learned that one obstacle that I have not anticipated was the lack of organization of the structure of my paper. My writing displayed poor structure and organization, causing my paper to lose clarity; while I have a clear idea of the outcomes that I want, there is a difference in between having a clear idea and a structure for the composition of the paper. In order to deal with this obstacle I had to modify my plan of action, instead of starting to write my Really Big Shoe, I started by developing an outline for my paper.
I’m not very good at writing. This paper that you're reading right now was a struggle for me to think of it. If I really try and work and keep brainstorming I can write a great paper, but it takes me forever. I’m not a writer. I hate writing.
My history as a writer has been a bit of a struggle of slow development. From a young age I had a hard time with spelling and this is still a trouble area for me, even with the help of autocorrect. As I grew in age and as a writer my problematic area became not including enough nitty gritty details. My bad experiences that I recall would always involve the start of writing because I struggle with beginning paragraphs. Also, I tend to use the ending paragraph to just repeat myself, so overall my first and last paragraphs are usually shit.

My feelings toward writing aren 't good nor bad. Writing is something i have had difficulty with in my past. I have no problem brainstorming ideas on what topics to write my assignments on, even if i am given a prompt, but I do have difficulty with sitting down and planning my work. I always find myself getting stuck. So I almost never take the time out to plan out my ideas i come up with.
This time I have connected the paragraphs together. I had a better thesis statement. I had good topic sentences in each paragraph. The topic sentences were connected to the thesis. I had also used quotes better after using quotes I have cited them properly and explained the quote better.
As I began the journey of returning to school, one of my biggest fears, was the writing aspect in the classes. The fear of reading and writing has never been a strong quality; however, I have never able to successfully be creative in the way I learn. I understand my weaknesses and when I need to focus on my strengths. I am constantly learning new ways, skills, and tools to utilize to continue to grow as a writer. Focusing on my strengths allows me to have the security that I can be a good writer.
