One fine morrning at Kaneland McDole Elemantry school in Montgomery, our 1st grade class was going to gym. We were in the hallway when we started talking to each other. The Carolina Day Key Middle School went on an overnight in September 2015 at a place called Camp Timberlake for Boys. All of us got to know each other well. On our last day a few of our canoes flipped over while on the French Broad River. One of them was Lacy, Aubrey and Mr. Flamini’s canoe. Lacy and Aubrey’s canoe flipped over when Mr. Flamini tried to clamber in.
When I was attending Kaneland John Shields Elementary School in Sugar Grove, everday was just the same. First we started out with Silent reading our books, and then moved onto reading with our guided reading books. Next, we would move onto writing, where some days we free wrote and others we had an assignment. After Writing we had specials, which consisted of, art, P.E, computer, and music. Then we had lunch, math, and lastly social studies and science.
In the middle of the winter of the 5th grade school year at the Kaneland Mcdole Elementary School, I decided to cover for my best friend so he wouldn't get in trouble from my teacher. It was very cold while I waited at the bus stop every morning trying to amuse myself by sliding down the icy driveways. Ethan S., Sergio, and Grant were my best friends in 5th grade. Sergio was Mexican and a little shorter than me. He also sat next to me in desks of 5 or 4.

February sixth was the day of my last middle school game. We were playing our rivals , Ledford middle school. The first time we played them we only lost by two points. The first five starters for Ledford and our first five including myself were all standing at half court for tip off. The ref. threw the ball up and Gillian tipped it back to me.
When it comes to sports my family has many ties to Middletown High School South. In the Going as far back as the 1980’s when my Dad attended the same high school. He was a standout wrestler for the team and was given multiple scholarships to wrestle in college. My family name is everywhere within the trophy rooms and walls of Middletown South. I am the youngest of three children with two older sisters coming through high school before me.
Lots of people say that middle school is hard, has lots of responsibilities and you have to be on time for everything. Then I thought there weren 't serious till I actually went to middle school myself. Soon after elementary I went to a middle school that I went to was called Lincoln middle school, it wasn’t a big school, but it was a decent school. When I first went into that building I was excited to make new friends and meet my teacher, but then this lady that was the 6th grade dean(consular) gave me this piece of paper that had many classes on it and I ask her “why there are so many classes?”
It was a cold, dark, snowy, average Michigan morning. Wham! My bedroom door opened and my mom told me it was time to get up for school. I was hoping that we would have had a snow day with all of the snow that accumulated during the night, but we didn 't because Jenison never closes school for snow. It was such a struggle to even get out of bed!
I got out my pencil (ccn), my notebook (ccn), and my iPad (ccn). We all sat there angrily (an) because our teacher wasn't there. I was one of the only calm (sa) in the room. Finally our principle came in. I was filled with excitement
My first day at Larchmont Charter School, I was eager to meet new friends and start out a new life. I met my ELA and History teacher her name was Ms. Lorena and my Math and Science teacher her name was Ms. Emily. It was our first back to school night at Larchmont Charter School and my parents and I were talking to my new teachers about me having trouble with math, I always had a hard time with math it seems that I know the answer but I’m to afraid to get the answer wrong. My dad also told my new teacher’s that when I always use to take a test my teacher always use to point to the correct answer and helped me cheat.
When I was in elementary school, the thought of going to middle school had excited me, but little did I know that with a lot of excitement and happiness came pain and anguish. Being very young, I had never had any experiences with bullying or even depression, but throughout my three years, I had experienced both. When I left elementary school, I had the mindset that no matter how rude someone was towards you, you have to suck it up and still stay true to yourself. No matter what happened do not ever stoop down to their level and do not ever change who you are. I was eleven years old when I entered sixth grade at Lawrence Middle School.
It was on a breezy Friday morning in fifth grade, when I was skipping to Blackberry Creek Elementary School, in a fright about my reading and today our enormous homework assignment was being finished. I didn't feel very confident about it. I've met up with my friends along the way and they were in an excellent mood. As I was walking with a full backpack, my friends questioned me why I was so down. I didn't answer them when they questioned me.
It was a cloudy fall day, this particular morning in first grade. The air was cold and wind slowly crept up my back mysteriously. The walk to John Stewart Elementary School was horrible. Yesterday, I had gotten into a fight with my friend, Ava about what she thought I said. To make matters worse, it turned out to be Thursday which meant that I had to walk with Ava to school.
Looking back at my middle school years all I can see is a series of awkward moments. If I could go back with the knowledge I know now I do not think I would do that much different. I probably would not try to fit in so much. I always tried to fit in to cliques, which is a group of close friends who do not let in outsides, and I was trying to be like them instead of myself so I could fit in (Berger, 2014: 365). Trying to fit in I think I lost who I was and tried to become everything I was not.
