On 03/02/2017, I, Chad Agnew, was working as a patrol officer for the Wichita State University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately 1551 hours I was in Human Resources when I heard other officers get dispatched to Jardine Hall Room 201 for a panic alarm. I notified dispatch that I would be enroute since Human Resources in close to Jardine Hall. When I was approaching Jardine, I observed a male wearing a hat with shoulder length curly hair standing outside the front doors on the east side of Jardine. As I was entering the building, I walked past the male.
He said that in todays time, that is one of the worst crimes going on here recently. He also works with the University and Robinson County Sheriff’s Office. The relationship between them two are both very good, if they ever need help with anything he can call either one of those places. Captain Ed said he would recommend anyone who wants to pursue a career in the law enforcement, to get a four year degree or some kind of education because it helps out your resume when trying to get a better position in the agency. Also to do all of the training you can, because that will help you out in the long run.
BPD employs a full-time officer who is responsible for being the law enforcement point person for tract 19. The goals of neighborhood police officers include; increase confidence in the BPD, decrease fear of crime, listen to citizens’ concerns, solve problems together with the community, improve specific crime problems, reduce calls to the service line, and educate the public. I found listening to, and addressing citizens’ interesting as the neighborhood police officer did not return multiple attempts to reach him to discuss the challenges and strengths of tract 19.
I am a pioneer! My pioneer story isn’t your average Latter Day Saint pioneer story, as far as historical LDS stories go! I was raised by goodly parents, I was born and raised in Spokane Washington. I am the youngest of three children born to Jim and Shannon Newell. My brother James is the oldest and four years older than myself.
These officers should encourage the community to be more involved in the prevention of crime. This will also help all communities, not just the big cities, feel more confident and comfortable in the system that serves them. There is currently so much tension between the police and the
Senior year is winding down and three things that has been on my mind lately, one of which is UChicago. As I am artsy fartsy and I have written a crap poem to showcase my love for UChicago. Will anyone read this? Probably not, but I will share anyway and probably change some of the wording and add it to my quality blog (Grapesofcontentment.tumblr.com; high quality) University of Chicago To my dearest love, I pardon that my deep affections towards you are unrequited, And that you have many fine suitors that beseech you as well, As my love for you is immortal; an inevitable consequence of Your profoundness, your passion, your splendor, and intellect.
Hi Brian, I am contacting you about a issue that I am running into with my ASM. I am a new store manager for Office Depot since Oct, 9th at the Columbia Mo, location and I am having trouble with my ASM completing simple task lists as well as day in the life tasks. This was one of the first issues that I attempted to fix as soon as I arrived at the store, being that when I showed up in October the store had not completed portal tasks since the begging of September and were failing to complete the day in the life processes, displaying a lack of accountability on his behalf of the management team. He is having a hard time in his roll since I have been at the store as the current store manager, and has consistently come up short on completing tasks
The use of propaganda during World War 2 was a powerful tool that influenced the thoughts and actions of millions of people. From posters to films, governments and organizations employ various forms of propaganda to shape public opinion, recruit soldiers, and support the war effort. As such, understanding the impact and techniques of propaganda during this time is essential to comprehend the historical and cultural significance of World War 2. This essay will show that during World War I the federal government used propaganda conveyed through popular cultural media to create an “us versus them” mentality by releasing information and images that both demonized the enemy and explained the righteousness of the American people and their cause.
There was an officer in training, so whenever we got a call, the officer in training had to receive it. However, one of the calls that I got to partake in was a call about a person identified as a sex offender that was living on campus. We went to Ernest Calderón Learning Community because that is where the call came from. We received the call around 9:45 am. Officer Brady and myself walked around the inside of the building on each floor, as well as the outside of the hall.
Law enforcement is an honorable job to have and to uphold, especially a State Trooper. You will have a reputation to uphold. In this field it will come to know that it is very unpredictable. Every morning when you go into the field, there is always a chance you won't come home.
For my Diverse Field Experience this semester, I spent fifteen hours at the Mclean County Juvenile Detention Center. This particular center was occupied by about 8-14 juveniles at a time, all depending on court dates and occupancy of other nearby detention centers. This center usually had 3 staff members working the shift every time I went, which was seven to nine on weekday afternoons. I was intrigued to go to at this time because I thought it would be the time of the day were the juveniles had no school work or other obligations to do while I was there. I wanted to see what they liked to do in the free time before bed, the only stipulation being mandatory snack time at eight pm.
I came to SDSU a little worried about how big the campus was because the area of the campus is bigger than my hometown. I did not know whether I was going to make friends and fit in like I did back home. Going to all of the events around campus has definitely help in getting familiar with the campus and finding people to hang out with. I have found a group of friends that I am excited to get to know more by attending these events with them. The college offers so many opportunities to get involved in many different things.

There are different types of Law Enforcement officers. Such as: State Troopers, Highway Patrol, City Police, Deputy Sheriff (County Officers), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation, CSI (Crime Scene Investigation), Texas Rangers, Border Patrol, S.W.A.T (Special Weapons and Tactics), and lastly Federal Marshals!
My year in Plaza has been good. I like all my teachers, classes, and explos. The two things I want to talk to you guys about is lunch and reading. I pick lunch because it is so good, and it's better than last year. I also picked reading because it’s my highest grade, and I think i'm pretty good at reading than I was last year.
“I can no longer go to the library at night because I was once stopped by a group of 3 armed men who threatened to beat me up if I made any noise. They took away with my phone, laptop and Sh800. We need more police patrol in this area due to
