“It was dusk when I got my first glimpse of it off in the distance, beyond a ridge. All I could see were the spires and blocky tops of buildings... My heart started to race, and my palms grew damp.” Walls, Jeannette. The Glass Castle: A Memoir.
For fifteen years, I put my heart, effort, and soul into my band Murky Waters. I made it into a career that supports my wife, my stepdaughter, and my parents. Murky Waters is what saved my family and me from poverty in the ghetto of Warsaw, Poland, and it’s what saved me from giving up on life entirely before I met my wife. I met her only a year after Murky Waters began and she was introduced to me by my best friend and drummer, Tony. Anka was two months pregnant with my stepdaughter, Antonia, at the time we met.
My goal is to raise awareness and keep as many criminals out of our town as possible. Keeping one criminal from moving here doesn’t make it safe. We have to be aware of who is living here and who is safe to be around. I am asking you for your help to search regularly for offenders in our community and pass the information on to your neighbors. Let’s all stay informed so we can have a safe town to live in.
Per Reporter: “I would like a welfare check completed for my daughter Lucille. I contacted the police department and they ask that I call you for a welfare check. My ex-wife and I share joint custody of our daughter Lucille.
“Six weeks sitting in a two bedroom apartment with nothing to do but look at the neighbors. ” You would think this would be a dull concept for a movie, sitting in a window watching people’s daily lives. But when your view is as limited as if you’re in another building, something much more entertaining is made. When photographer L. B. Jeffries is confined to his apartment for weeks with a broken leg in the film Rear Window, he spends his time looking out the window at his neighbors. With the summer heat meaning every window is open for Jeffries to peer into, he learns about everyone in his block.
On 04/04/2016 I Deputy R. Dean Hildebrand, responded to 3 Springs Street Jefferson City Montana, on a complaint of damage to rental property. Upon Arrival I spoke to the complainant Dianne Thompson. An outsider: a person who does not belong. I stepped onto the chilly, uninviting plane with a sparkle of hope and adventure in my eyes. I was flying in an enormous plane to go on a gruesome eighteen hour flight. At first sight, every single person shot at us, not because we were flying a plane. But, because we were eight American-
Moreover, the tenant significantly relies on the landlord to fix the house and declare to only pay the bills until there are some adjustments. “Well, that’s Ten Bucks more’n I’ll pay you till you fix this house up new,” the tenant said. This substantiates the stubborn and childlike characteristics of the tenant who constantly view every
A sense of accomplishment is invaluable to a person. Not only does a sense of accomplishment build confidence and faith in oneself, but it also allows one to reflect on how wonderful the journey to the accomplishment was, and how every little struggle and triumph was worth it. In the middle of summer, where time seems endless and the stress of the previous school year has been shed by students, I never expected to find out that I scored a five on both of the advanced placement exams I took. Nor did I have one-hundred percent confidence the goals we set as section leaders of the marching band would actually be met. Yet to my surprise, I had the good fortune of accomplishing challenging things in both aspects of my life.
The Black Bag…A Lesson For All “Vali do not mess around or stick your hand in my black toiletry travel bag.” My dad said. Of course everybody does what they are told “not” supposed to do especially little kids like I was when I learned my painful lesson. I wanted to stick my hand in his black bag… And so I did.
