I have my BBA in finance from
Full Circle It was my senior year of high school and everything was going as planned. I had already been accepted into various colleges to study Math Education. This was the only career I had ever considered. Until now.
My interest in finance and savings was born, and I realized that I didn’t only want this to be a hobby, but that I wanted to pursue a career in the field. I knew that I wanted a career in finance, but I ran into a problem:
Today is the big day. The cross country meet. It’s finally wrap up and i heard the all call for all the Cross Country kids to go and get ready. Me and couple of other kids get out of our seats and leave the classroom. We quickly get ready and head for the buses.
I have had tough hope once, I had to move to a different state and start to get used to the new place. Moving was hard and took a long time to move everything to our new house. My new house was hard to get used to because it was different and I wasn 't used to it which made it hard to sleep and I had to leave my friends behind and I would have to find new friends. Making new friends was hard because I would be alone until I found new friends and I would have no one to talk to so I would be very quiet. Usually I would always be talking to a friend and I am only social with friends.
Some days I feel terrible, and some days I be feeling myself. I have had the pleasure of having Janet 's main engineer listen to a few of my beats and enjoy them. I wish I could have made Janet 's album, but she had already finished Unbreakable. I have had the pleasure of talking with the writer and creator of Malcolm and Eddie. Nothing has came about so far, but 2016 has been a way better year than 2015.
The day began like any ordinary day except on this day a scene I envisioned for years was about to occur. Finding me trapped in a moment in space and time with a huge decision to make as my heart kept pounding [IT/DC]. Growing up I was fascinated with extreme flips. I longed to learn the front flip.
Throughout life, individuals are able to gain life experiences which allow them to grow and transform. Similarly, I was able to go through a transformation in my life. My transformation was caused by a story I read in sophomore year called “The Metamorphosis”. “This story allowed me to reflect on my own life and I learned how to deal with my emotions in a better manner. Personally, I have experienced sadness and stress from situations in school, at home, and from other things in my life, but I would never tell anyone.
The older I get, the more I realize how difficult it has become for me to deal with change. I understanding that change can be a significant thing. I am used to doing things my way. So when the time comes for a change, I do not accept it well. I have a difficult time trying to adjust to change at home and I the workplace.
Defining an individual notion is denoting its differences form other ideas and situations. When Robert Frost wrote “A Road Not Taken,” he uses a simple metaphor between life and a road in a very relatable manner. In the highway of life, we all venture down the road until a fork appears, and we are left to make a decision. Whether it is a yes or no, left or right, or right and wrong, this process separates us, and does so until only one person remains on a road. Our lives are judged on our position on this road, and my choice of playing golf “has made all the difference.”
When I was five years old, my family moved from our home country of Chile to the United States of America because of my dad’s job. This was the first time in my life that I had ever witnessed someone taking a life-changing leap. Not many people are willing to pack up all of their belongings and move 5,000 miles away from their family, friends, and home country, but my parents made this monumental decision because they believed that it was the best thing for our family. My parents were the first people I saw to take the road less traveled by, and it made a great difference for me. As a seventeen year-old kid in high school, I have not had many chances to take the road less traveled by.
Who I Have Become Transferring high schools was one of the hardest challenge I have had to overcome. It taught me lessons and put me through challenges I am so thankful for today. While walking around the new halls on my first day, I was overwhelmed by all the stares from kids I have never met before. This was very intimidating and brought about an immense feeling of fear, and I would have never thought that I would have been able to overcome that and become a stronger person from it.
I have become more aware of my values and beliefs while taking into consideration other individuals values, beliefs, goals and their needs. I hope that this course will push me forward for the career I want to pursue in the future. I would like to work in the field of social work and hope to specify in working with children with learning disabilities. I understand some of the situations I may be faced with may be very challenging however this will give me more motivation to help individuals overcome challenging situations. I feel that university will further my passion for working with vulnerable
Starting over Starting over might be easy when you are young, but if you are middle age and already have a stable and calm life, it is very hard to start over. My family and I moved from Egypt to The US three years ago, so we had to start from scratch. We found systems in the US are different from my country. After we found a good residence, our concern was finding employment. I was a science teacher in my country, so I tried to find a job in the educational field, but there were a lot of requirements to get a job as a teacher.
Learning history is always important as it reveals our mistakes and grants us the opportunity to learn from our mistakes. My understanding of the history of economics will serve as a useful base-knowledge as I continue on my studies in economics. In my third and fourth year of university, I will broaden my field of study to an international level. As I have mentioned previously, I plan to learn international economics through classes such as International Trade or International Finance. Moreover, I will take business-related classes funded by corporates to get familiarized with industries in Japan and the real-world problems that they face.
