Life is constantly changing and surprising, but I consistently learn to grow up and fit in society. During my three years in United States, I had encountered various obstacles, and the only one trait that keeping me move forward, is persistence. I can’t describe myself as the best of the class, nor the most hardworking students. However, I had planned each step toward my goal, and make sure I can achieve them. Language is the most formidable task I had ever encountered. At the beginning, communication is a headache to me, because is hard to express my thoughts to others in oral or writing. This change when my teacher came, she was responsible to translate the classwork and help me complete homework. Although I had gave up several times in the situation, but she encouraged me and teach me to face the new world. The interchange of language and cultural help me learn to cherish the opportunity to open my view and make friends, and understand the important of planning. The city and state competition improved my teamwork and preparation skills, and my team won the 3rd place of quiz bowl in New York City competition. Further, I was honor to be as officer of the club in sophomore year, the fall leadership training help me realized the importance of teamwork and leadership. I am preparing myself to be a leader, not only to lead others to face a common goal, also to lead my life to achieve the future that I expected. The SkillsUSA club inspired me to have a bigger plan of the future, not only college, but also my career option. My future career choice is computer programmer or a doctor. I had prepared myself by sign up the college class for programming in the spring semester and the advance placement class for biology.
