Standing in the batter’s box, I twirled the bat once and placed it on my shoulder. As my heart thumped and sweat rolled down my cheek, I raised the bat and exhaled. The score was 6–6 in the bottom of the seventh inning; our team had two outs and the bases were loaded. With the weight of the game on my shoulders, I waited anxiously for the pitch. The softball whipped furiously through the air until it came to a sudden halt; the ball had crashed into my thigh.
The first pitch crack of the ball off the bat a triple. The next 3 kids hit doubles. The first Batter was up to the plate. He had hit the ball right to our third basemen,but he fielded it too quick and bobbled it. The batter had made it to first base.
“We easily got this” Dylan shouted at me over from first base “I know we just gotta get three outs” I hollered back The first pitch was a strike right up the middle no chance for me or derek to get to, on the very next pitch the runner stole second base. “Lets bounce back boys” Coach yelled from the bench.
but he was certainly incorrect. As Reds fans were hoping he would strike out and Red Sox fans praying for a miracle, Mookie Swung. Bases are loaded in the bottom of the 9th and it is all up to Mookie. Mookie swings and hits it to left field for the game-winning grand slam. The crowd at Fenway was electrified and hype.
The first guy came up to the plate. I could not be happier. The first pitch was a strike. Then the 2nd pitch was a strike and the batter swung and missed. The last pitch came and struck the first batter out.

Here we were the last tournament of the year. We were in the championship. Towards the end of the game I was on third base, we were down one run then the worst hitter on the team came up, Owen. Of course he hit it right to the first baseman. Unfortunately we got second.

The announcer yelling through the TV speakers, “ Here’s the 0-1, this is gonna be a tough play, Bryant, THE CUBS, WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!! The curse finally broken, as the crowd went wild.
Championship game day, the game started off good and we were really close, tied as a matter of fact until the bottom of the sixth it was the last inning we had to hold them to go to extra innings. One runner got walked the next got a hit so the first runner got to third then we got two outs. Then their best hitter comes up and it was a full count and he hits a single and they win. Now Briggs and I were very competitive, so we took it pretty hard.
The game is about to begin. My sister and I go to the bottom and high five the girls. I thought to myself I am never washing my hands again. We go back to our seats.
We watched the tv like a hawk as the player ran around the field to first, second, and third base winning the game. I jumped out of my seat and screamed. The cubs had just won the world series. Was it true? Soon all of our eyes that had been sleepy and tired were wide open watching the reactions of all the dedicated players.
First home run Crack! The ball flew off the bat and went as high as a bird in the sky. Aaron is a young 11 year old boy who loves playing baseball whenever he can. Every Time that he would step up to the plate he was always swing for the fence and dreamed about hitting the ball over and seeing all the fans cheer as he rounded the bases. All of times Aaron had played he never had home run but was always close sometimes hitting the wall just short of the ball going over it: but today that was about to change.
Everyone 's at least broken a bone or injured themselves before right? Well this is one of those tragic stories where I unfortunately injured myself. It all started way back in the 5th grade and all my friends and family know I love & play the game of baseball. The baseball season for the little league I play for is about to begin in about 1-2 weeks.
Then next thing I know is there is two people in front of me before I am up to bat. So I get in my bag to get my batting gloves, helmet, and everything else I needed to go hit. I stand towards the front of the dugout till it is my turn to take some practice swings in the on-deck circle. The batter that was up got walked and now it was my time to do my pre-hit routine in the batters box. I took three swings, then stretch, then talked to people in the crowd to not sike myself out before
