Part One – Christian Worldview In today’s world it is easy to become enchanted by worldly things. The deceptions that Christian’s allow themselves to believe (i.e. just this once, it’s not going to hurt anyone, I can handle it, I can stop whenever I want, etc.) come directly from Satan. There was a time when hearing a curse word or seeing too much flesh in a movie would be embarrassing; now it appears to be the norm and most Christians do not even bat an eye at such things any more.
Wicca is a pagan nature-based, fertility-oriented religion, and although it has many roots to the “old ways” and ancient practices, Wicca as it currently stands is a fairly new religion, technically started by Gerald Gardner in the 1940s. Gardner reconstructed and reinvented ancient beliefs and practices to fit a modern age. Wiccans observe the turn of the seasons and the cycle of the moon. Wiccans embrace the existence of two main deities: the Goddess and the God. The moon and its changing phases are often considered the embodiment of the Goddess, while the sun is said to symbolize the God.
I was going through boxes looking for something, anything that would help me finish this project. My teacher just handed out an essay that we have to do on the history of a family member . My Dad told me if we have anything it would be in the trunk upstairs, but there were only trinkets in the trunk. I resorted to scavenging through the boxes in the attic. I gave up after finding nothing except a picture of some man sitting on a pony.
I felt my heart hammering in my chest. I knew I was next and my anxiety was trying to get the better of me but I knew better. When I heard my name called, I slowly got up from my seat. I glanced around me and caught my brother’s eye.
My professors can also influence me and they do. Many of the professors I have now I thoroughly enjoy their classes. Professors at bigger universities do not care about what is going on in the students’ lives, but at Grace the professor are here for me, personally. They want to hear what is going on in my life and see if they can help with anything. My professors make me want to become a fun, loving person who just cares for others even if I don’t know them.

And like a tree without roots, a person without culture will fail in a world so full of it. At every turn we can find a piece of culture, whether it is an American store, some recognizable logo, or even the signs were so used to seeing on the road. Culture is everywhere. You might be American, Russian, Columbian or a combination of the three,but it is always necessity for you to know where your roots are.
Growing up Christianity had always been part of my life and there was no question about it. My family was christian and the culture that my parents grew up in was heavily religious. However, I personally never had a true connection to Christ at a young age. To me church was the place I went to answer questions in Sunday School and win prizes for it, and that was how I saw it for a long time. It was hard for me to see it has more than that and from the outside I may have looked like the kid had a true connection with Christ by the way I talked in front of the church when my class presented, or the fact that I was able to answer most if not all the questions correctly.

Creating my own religion, this task does seem pretty fun. Well my religion would be very similar to the army and sports, it will contain structure, a need to compete/exercise, guidelines on how to treat others, and most of all it will be fun. There will be no reliance on a god/s, no prejudice against others and most of all, history will be made by each individual. And what I mean from that, yes there will be history but each person will be in charge of choosing their own paths in life. There will be no guidelines to follow (except to treat others kindly), just the freedom for one to create their own greatness.
As a Muslim convert, who has a tragic story of hardship after coming to Islam. This is a very brief idea of my situation and what had happened to me.
