Mckenna, I too wrote about the mindless monster and the negative effects it can have on someone. It's crazy to think about the lengths people will go to please someone and will overwork themselves to make sure others are happy. I believe that the only way to be truly happy is to make sure you're good first. The other aspect I agree with was your point on body language. That is something I need to work on a lot as well.
I have been doing some thinking about our conversation a few days ago and have concluded that I will take you up on the offer! I just sold my old bike and now have some money left over that I can use to pay for those seminars. I am going to see how soon I can get this done, I am going to look at the dates and send my form in. I will keep you posted on the status of things as they get processed.
Goal Number One I didn’t know it yet, but the way I viewed the game of lacrosse was about to change drastically. It was a normal day for me. I was in eighth grade, and I was getting ready for school.
In today’s society people often correlate test scores and percentages to how intelligent a person is. Although, I believe intelligence is also a mix of experiences, I strive to control what people judge me on, which is calculated numbers.
As an avid fan of the manipulation of language, double meanings of words have always interested me. “Brilliance” with its multifaceted denotations is my favorite word because it accurately describes the essence of who I am. In one aspect, brilliance means “exceptional talent and intelligence”. I am hard working; I achieve high grades in school and use the wisdom I gain in daily experiences. As a leader, I have to use my insightfulness often to think of quick and efficient ways to lead.
Here it is the day before the biggest game of the biggest game of the season; the coach had us practicing for three hours straight with not water break might I add. After three long and tiring hours of running the same play schemes continuously, coach D decided to call practice. Tomorrow being the biggest game of the season the team decided to stay and shoot around. After about thirty minutes of just shooting the team decided to play a game of around the world. I was winning because I was one of the best shooters on the team, but on the last shot of the game the worst thing happened.

When I was in my freshmen year of high school I was known as the guy who was too afraid to speak his mind and become more interactive with my years. After over a year of depression and loneliness I was destined to just run away and disappear from the world. That was until my family realize about my problems and decided to put me as part of the youth group known as the Young Peoples Department, where I have desperately tried to avoid, to increase my self-esteem and to motivate me be evolved with my own community. With that booster I was able to explore other groups which includes cooking at my church, ushering, becoming president of my own youth group, and join a group called the Upward Bound. One day I decided to volunteer at an airshow where
day would offer a real-life test. Nearly every child has a desire to live on a tropical island due to a series of adventitious circumstances. Fortunately, at the age of eight, my father’s occupation required my family to move to Puerto Rico. Little did I know that this move would be the catalyst needed to transform myself into who I am today. Upon arrival, my family was met with bombast lectures about the effects of culture shock, and what life would be like on a U.S. territory. However, I was still unprepared for the dramatic change my academic and social life was about to face.
Everyone has their own strengths and weakness. According to the StrengthsQuest survey I have five great strengths (Clifton, Anderson, & Schreiner, 2006). These strengths for me are Context, Deliberative, Competition, Futuristic and Input. It was very surprising to see how the descriptions was on point. This paper will discuss how the five strengths contribute to my life past, present and future.

These concepts are vital in learning and will carry over to everyday life as an adult.
Knowledge acquisition component are we use to learn and store new information. According to Sternberg, intelligence cannot be defined by IQ test, rather intelligence should be defined on how you perform in your everyday world. People who are successfully intelligent are able to achieve their own idea within their culture and are skilled at adapting to their environment to fit their needs. There are three components of successful intelligence: analytical, creative, and practical intelligence. Analytical intelligence are applied to analyze, judge, compare, and contrast.
Everyone has a moral compass. What things guide or inspire you? Reading inspires me a lot, I recently read a book called The Road to Character by David Brooks. This book was very inspirational in a way that made me want to become a better person. It made me realize what it is to have good character and to be a genuinely nice person.
The Unseen I’m sitting in the car with my mom in the driver seat. Holding casual conversation, when she mentioned something about my sister, Khighla. She said that she had run away from home in Missouri and she hadn’t come home in a couple days. Giving her a worried look she reassured me that hopefully everything was okay and that she would be home soon if not that day. I went to bed that night crying.
