How will an international education help me make a difference in the world?

Northwest Missouri State University Everything happens for a reason. I left my home (Nepal) on 20th of August 2018 for International Education. It was not easy to leave home, family after living there for long 18 years. However, I knew it was happening for a reason. That was I stepping out of my comfort zone for one of the very few times in my life. I am currently studying Bachelors in Psychology in Northwest Missouri State University. There was a big shift in my career once I came to the United States. I always wanted to be inside my comfort zone and that was not doing any good for me. I came to the United States to pursue my career in the field of Computer Science. It is more like a trend in Nepal that once you graduate from the high school; you pursue your field in the field of technology. I was not sure what I wanted to do in future. Therefore, I just followed the so-called trend and decided to pursue my Bachelors in Computer Science in Northwest Missouri State University. I did not want to be myself until then. I was like I would get a job after graduating and make my living with the money and working for what I was not sure about.

It is more than that an every single part of International Education is worth it, at least for me. I consider myself fortunate enough to be coming to the United States because it had many changes on me. It is all about international exposure rather than the education. International exposure is must for every students. It helps to give the knowledge about the other part of the world. It made me realize my value, norms.
