Through the process of gaining confidence, students feel better about being able to communicate ideas across different cultures, which is similar to what Stebleton wanted to accomplish. However, Williams added the second stage, humility, which Stebleton and his co-workers did not address. I think that of all the summer programs available, the Stanford Summer Institutes is the most rigorous and challenging, due to Stanford’s excellent academic reputation, which appeals to me. I want to attend the Summer Institutes because I believe that I can devote the most time to my passion this way, since other summer programs require choosing multiple courses instead of one. I am interested in Stanford as a future college as an undergraduate and a graduate, so going to the Stanford Summer Institutes would let me experience life on campus. I look forward to living on “The Farm” as well as engaging with a community of likeminded individuals who share my spirit and drive. Throughout my search for colleges, I came across a number of different schools. Each school offered something different, a new research insititue, excotic places to study aborad in or even a pet friendly policy. All of these things were great offers but one thing that none of the schools I saw offered was a city like Boston. Boston is what many call a young city. Yes, it is true that the city itself is not, considering it dates back all the way to before the American Revolution but the people living in the city are young students eager to learn.
The virtues of thought are necessary for a student to be successful as an electrical engineer. As an engineer, all aspects of the virtues of thought are not gained at Texas A&M University. The reason for this is because virtues of thought is gained through training, education, and learning (Miller). As a student of this institution, I believe we do not receive the necessary formal training for several courses offered. We do, however, receive education and learning experience heavily based on theoretical analysis.

He deeply studied comparatively the formation of international society and political community of the past which has evolved into the modern world system in his ‘Evolution of International Society’. Unlike Kenneth Waltz views of anarchy as the only system in IR, Watson says there are two systems viz. anarchy and hierarchy. In between these systems is the hegemony which defines the contemporary IR.
Within the realm of education, there are numerous ideologies that may be utilized to construct a curriculum. Several of these ideologies are more prominent than others. With this in mind, there are four main ideologies that are analyzed more frequently than others; these include Scholar Academic, Social Efficiency, Learner-Centered, and Social Reconstruction. Throughout this paper, the focal point will be assessing how these views are applied, both inside and outside the classroom.
I think I am still weak in this aspect. One is that, although the university is an international one and has students from all over the world, our courses are mainly focusing on the Asian area, especially Hong Kong and Mainland China. For example, in my courses of Taxation and Business Law, I was only taught the practices of Hong Kong. In addition, it is difficult to change the personal ways of thinking, which has been kept for many years. I always express ideas only from the perspective of a Chinese, instead of a global outlook, and that has narrowed my thoughts to a great extent.

The decision has been carefully made based on my bachelor degree in International Communications Studies with Spanish, voluntary teaching in primary schools in China and Cameroon. After graduation, I wish to work for as an administrative coordinator in an international education institution or as a program manager of NGO, promoting quality education.
