Accounting information affects many aspects of our lives. For instance, when we earn money, save money, pay bills and taxes, and plan for the future. Some people believe that accounting is a little tedious and you need to be an expert in mathematics to be able to understand it .However, I enjoy working with numbers, and I consider myself very good at it. Accounting requires analytical skills as well. Ever since I took my first accounting class, I knew that a major in accounting would be a good choice .It opens up more doors and offers a wide range of job opportunities. Accounting is referred as the language of business. I want to learn this language and have a clear understanding of it. The demand for accountants continues growing because they play an important role in the success of any business entity. Accountants are indispensable when a business is starting up and for the rest of the business life .Managers or business owners depend on accountants to run their businesses. I would be able to specifically understand tools, techniques and theories that would help me prepare for my role in contemporary business world. With increasing competitive and complex business scenarios, the need for structured accounting will only increase with time. As I mentioned before, every sector and enterprise in modern times needs good accounting practices in order to survive. From private to Government sector the use of good accountants spread out across a variety of focused practices are needed in order to maintain the financial environment and balance the books.
