I am interested in becoming a TK assistant teacher at Providence Day School. I believe my pedagogical style reflects the Providence Day commitment to students, allowing students to be intellectual risk-takers within a community of supportive learners and educators. My life experiences and my enthusiasm will allow me to teach with compassion and understanding to help students achieve academic success while nurturing their social and emotional skills. I will be graduating from Queens University of Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education on May 6, 2017. I am currently completing my student teaching in first-grade at Sharon Elementary School.
(qtd in Long). Those going into teaching now go into this profession knowing they will most likely have to work multiple jobs if they do not have a partner that is able to support them. This is causing a lack of teachers which in turn is causing them to be spread too thin and way overworked which is horrible. This relates to my life as someone studying special education currently. Reading this text gave me more insight into what it is really like for
World War Two would hit Europe hard and fast. Massive changes were to be made in multiple ways. One very significant change was the worldwide mobilization of women. Many powers around the world realized that winning a war this massive would be a challenge. Putting women to work, they hoped would lead them to a win.
I have always had a passion for making a difference in others’ lives. From a young age my aspiration has to become a teacher, but I was not sure what level of education I would be best suited in. All through high school, I was involved in Best Buddies and Allied Sports which worked solely with students with disabilities. It brought me great joy to see them happy when people cared about them and even simply talked to them. It was not until about the end of my junior year in high school, I decided to explore different areas of education my senior year.
I see myself professionally five years from now as an educator leading an organization that provides services to children with disabilities that helps them discover their strengths and creates a positive vision for their future careers. My interest in Special Education goes back to the time when I was 2nd year High school. Since I was studying in a catholic school, we were required to join various outreach programs. At a young age, I was already exposed to the life outside the prestigious school. I used to teach unfortunate children in a squatter area.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Briona Mcall, as your child’s new teacher in K-2 CDC special education class. I was recently hired at Holston View Elementary School as Mrs. McMurray is moving to Hong Kong to teach special education. We are excited for her and wish her the best. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Special Education from East Tennessee State University in 2015. I completed my student teaching in Bristol at Anderson Elementary and Tennessee High School
I have a wealth of experience and knowledge that make me a highly qualified candidate. I have worked for over twenty years as a speech therapy assistant, and began working in the schools a few years ago. Since working in the schools, I decided that I want to become a teacher. I have become recently certified through ABCTE for Elementary Education and Special Education, and I am waiting to receive my Idaho license.
I am writing regarding your advertisement on the HPSD online website, I am interested in applying for special education teacher. I have worked as a long-term inclusion teacher at N.R. I have also worked at Earl Travillion School as a self-contained sped assistant and been employed with Hattiesburg Public School. However, as a prospective sped teacher, I am willing to be a dedicated to my profession and to have compassion toward sped students as well as other students. Working with children with special needs can be very challenging; however,
Personal Statement for NQT Year I have been lucky enough to have been taught by some truly inspirational teachers and am aware of the effect they have had on my life and the choices I have made subsequently. My own passion for working with young children extends from my desire to emulate these role models and perform the same inspirational function in the lives of my students. I have always enjoyed being around young people and have supplemented my interests in primary teaching with as much work experience as possible. I completed my PGCE Education course and qualified in 2006.
Not only will I contribute my unique vision to the organization but I will also contribute my ability to see things from an equitable lens. As an active member on the equity team I have had experience with courageous conversations, the “CLEAR” model as incorporates culture, learning, equitable, achievement, and responsiveness into the classroom and curriculum. Additionally, I come with full knowledge of conscious discipline, true color personality, classroom management strategies, and restorative circle practices. As a special education resource and principal intern I am fully aware of due process and can help out in that area to relieve not only the stress from special education teacher but be supportive in all aspect. I come with fully
Teachers know that students walk into their classrooms with a wide range of abilities. But teachers try to find ways to meet the needs of all students, including those with learning and attention issues. Your choice of teaching method depends on what fits you — your educational philosophy, classroom demographics, subject area(s) and school mission statement. Teaching theories can be organized into four categories based on two major parameters: a teacher-centered approach versus a student-centered approach, and high-tech material use versus low-tech material use. While teachers are still an authority figure in a student-centered teaching model, teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process.

Choosing a career seems to be a leading problem for most people entering college. University of La Verne, in california, says, “50-70% of students change their majors at least once, most will change majors at least 3 times before they graduate” (University of La Verne). Personally, I am someone who struggles with what I want to study in college; it is hard to choose something to do for the rest of my life when I feel so young. Helping people has always been a big interest of mine, and with both careers of occupational therapy and special education, I think that can be achieved. People with disabilities do not learn things the same way everyday people do, it is important for them to get the help they need in order to maintain a stable, healthy
Since I was a little kid, I have always had my mind set on being a teacher. Throughout school there have been many teachers that I consider role models and some who have pushed me in the direction of teaching. As I got older, I have discovered the reason why I want to be a teacher rather than the answer I used to give when I was a kid “I like to work with kids”. Teaching to me now is much more than enjoying working with kids. It is about inspiring students and getting them excited about learning.
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. Teaching can leave a lasting impression in a child’s life and offers a special opportunity to shape the bright young minds of future generations. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
